Creating Memories with my Family- A Walk to Remember

My children used to stay inside the four walls of their rooms while they enjoyed themselves with the gadgets during their free time. To give them a break from too much exposure to screens, we always find time when to unplug themselves from the gadgets and bonding as one family will be given preference.

In this blog, I'm going to share the memories created by my family thru a simple bond along the coastal road.

The walk along the coastal road

I'm so thankful for our car because, through this, we can easily travel and be able to bond with my family. Although this is not as expensive as expected, it means a lot to me. This car bridges us to our happiness.

One late afternoon, after fetching my child to school, we decided to order our early dinner at the Mcdo drive-thru. We used to do this twice a month as this is advantageous in creating memories with our children.

Our children love walking especially when it is along coastal areas. Since it was too late in the afternoon, we agreed to go to Bogo Wharf Zone, as it is nearer to our residence.

We opted to eat first. Eating with our kids along the coastal road was fun and exciting. After being full, we started strolling while feeling the sea breeze that caressed our skin.

This is the scenario of the Bogo Wharf zone in the afternoon. People from different places flocked here to experience the calming effects of the sea and to be relaxed by gazing at the lush green seen from the distance. Many love to stroll and enjoy the dramatic scene of the sea. This is a pet-friendly zone and as a piece of evidence, we have spotted some fur babies taking their walk to be healthy.

We have an informative talks with our child while walking. Spotting afar, we saw the setting of village-like houses. I was asked by RM what are those colored white infrastructures. I was wrong with my answers to her. It thought they are villages but is the Polambato port that belongs to Bogo, City Cebu.

As we kept on walking, the sun started to set. The orange color from it totally put us into amusement. It was so splendid as the sun's rays started to touch the seawater. We have witnessed how magnificent the reflection of the sun is on the calm seawater. So amazing.

We left the wharf zone full of smiles, happy and contented. Nothing can equal the enjoyment that we had as one family. This day ended with an incredible walk that will be stored in our memories and to keep a healthy family relationship.

Sometimes in life, the simplest thing can be worth remembering especially when your company is the most precious treasure that you have in your life. This was just a simple activity with the family however, this will contribute to a positive outlook on our children's well-being.
