Like a good sharknixxx (tiburonixxx suena mejor) it's 2:37 am and I'm still awake. Says my smart watch that the shark is my animal according to the quality of my sleep. 😁
However, I am not supposed to be awake after this:
It's not about the exercise, it's about how little sleep I got yesterday (5 h 6 min). Anyway, you can see I walked. This post could be published here, right?
Y ya que estamos... 😃 since we're at it... and April has just come to a close, I might as well post a summary of my activities here. I just want to encourage you, if you haven't started moving that skeleton, to start now... and if you already have, then keep at it. For my part, I'll try to do more than this in the first half of May.

Outdoor cycling 74%
Hiking 24%
Running 1% 🙆
Of course, what I do most is bike. That's why I want to run more, walk more, and do other sports activities this month. Let's see if I can achieve it. I'll have to set a reminder to do a comparison post at the end of the month... I hope I don't embarrass myself or have to keep justifying myself.
Okay, enough with the screenshots.
Today I felt lost. My telephone cable was stolen... or I don't know. Early yesterday morning, my modem lost connection, and at noon, I decided to go to the pole where my cable is located to see if there was a problem, and it turns out someone cut the cable. And someone stole a large piece. So, it all happened in the middle of the night, at least the cut. I don't know if the robbery happened right then or if someone who happened to be passing by and saw the cable on the ground decided to take it home. Or there's also the hypothesis that the cable got tangled up with something during these windy days and broke... although this one doesn't hold up.
The problem that arises from all this is that now I don't have ADSL Internet, again! And I'm worried about how long it might take to get a new cable installed. I don't know... the way things are here... everything is uncertain.
After documenting all of that on video, I grabbed my bike and headed to the Miramar Trade Center. Here's a view of the Neptuno, Tritón, Panorama and Gran Muthu Habana hotels from there.

I spent a while there trying to upload a video of my walk last Sunday. It wasn't possible... it wouldn't upload. I left home around 5 pm, when the sun went down a bit, and I was there trying in vain, wasting time as it always does here. I'm really quite tired of that, of wanting to do something that could be done in minutes somewhere else, only for hours and hours to pass... as if my time wasn't important, as if I didn't matter... and in the end, not being able to do anything, or doing it the way I didn't want to do it.
By the way... we have a beautiful sky, right?
It was very quiet there. In a café, some young people were chatting a bit... but the surrounding calm was so overwhelming that you couldn't even notice them, even though they sometimes laughed loudly.

Pelegrin, back there, is a grocery store in the Trade Center with lots of delicious things, but you pay in dollars and it reminded me that I was hungry, I checked my wallet and I didn't have any dollars.

I left and pedaled a bit along 70th Street, then crossed Fifth Avenue and turned onto a street I'd never been on before. I felt lost within myself... I had a feeling of sadness and loneliness. Maybe it was just frustration.
A cat crossed my path, and I couldn't stop staring at the overflowing garbage cans. How I wish I were in a clean city! It doesn't matter if it's deserted or even uninhabited, I just don't want to see any more filth.
At the same time, I thought about achieving some kind of abstraction that would allow me to see things with different eyes... whether the sky was beautiful, whether the last lights of the sunset were a grand spectacle.

I turned my attention to the tree. To its curious shape, as if it were a warrior of a thousand battles, yet still greening despite everything.

And further ahead, another tree. Similar.
Pedaling with thoughts of greening and facing difficulties seems to have taken me to a better place.

Because suddenly I was on this street, seeing that house that caught my attention. I think it was the combination of the ivy on its walls and with the sky, the clouds, the light of the sunset.

I approached the house and thought this angle looked interesting. I took the photo, noticed the photos hanging on the walls, and thought it must be a cultural institution. Then I looked for a sign that would show me where I was standing.
Photos are taking a while to upload... comments are sent twice. It's already 4 am.

It was in front of the Ethiopian Embassy.

As soon as I saw the photos, I knew they were royalty-free photos displayed on that wall, highlighting Ethiopia's historical, cultural, and natural sites.
The first photo is Aksum, an ancient 1,700-year-old Ethiopian granite obelisk. The second one is about the coffee ceremony and next up is a photo by Eyol Kahssay/Unsplash. I was curious and did a Google search. 😁 So later on, as I walked along that sidewalk, I saw a photo of the capital of Ethiopia and another of Emperor Fasil’s Palace, and some dromedaries too... by the way, what's the difference between camels and dromedaries? (Trivia Time) What is the capital of Ethiopia?
I cycled away from that place with the idea of finding ice cream and a sweet treat. But I was on 66 between 7th A and 7th. I had to get to 42. It wasn't far but it was getting late for me to return home.

Here, some houses are built using this method of filling those panels with concrete. Or am I wrong?

You see why I hate all this garbage thing... how could I not hate it? You look to the side, you're filled with a beautiful energy, but when you look down... hey, you really need abstraction buckets!
That's when I decided what kind of abstraction we needed. On the way home, a place strangely called to us. I don't know what I saw, but I let myself be guided by whatever told me to go there. I crossed the street... I don't know what it was, maybe it was my idea of the ice cream, combining all its tricks to stay afloat.

Would you like a piece of this cake, love of my life? -I asked my bike.

But we didn't stop at cake... we also had Mantecado ice cream.

And we brought some of that ice cream home and put raisins in it.
;)
My mood lifted a little bit. And since it's taken me over three hours to upload these photos and these moments I wanted to share with you... I think there will be days of technological blackouts around here. I need to calm down... find another way. I don't know... maybe I should say goodbye to all of this.

My answer is: be like the tree, it has fought the battle and keeps on sprouting and always look up to the sky, not down to the rubbish, the rubbish will still be there, you can't avoid it, look up to the sky and the universe will bring you more of it. Take heart, I know what you are going through.
🤷🏻😶🌫️

It's a pleasure for me to participate in this day for walk with all of you. Thank you @tattoodjay.
When it comes to sleeping, I sometimes have my best moments... maybe I need to stop worrying and rest more. I've said it myself: it's important to know how to flow.

Hi @nanixxx, your time matters, you matter. You matter a lot to me (my ego put me first), you matter to all the people who love and adore you.
A very big hug. ☀️😎
You have all the right in the world not to be a super champion 24 hours a day, which besides boring is very tiring, to show yourself vulnerable, and the rest of us do not take the liberty to accompany you (nothing more).
Thank you for your understanding.

😊 Thank you!
Nice work @nanixxx! You've taken an important step towards growing your Hive power.
1st shot would be a good entry for a challenge 'I see faces'.
Tho there is no such one at a Hive (there wasnt one at Steemit either).
I am thinking about starting it from time to time, but... who cares? heh.
!BEER, and have a great weekend!
If it matters to you, it's enough.
