A walk through Lima's Chinatown

Traditional Gate / Puerta Tradicional

The city of Lima as well as many others in the world, has its own Chinatown. The attraction is mainly located on Calle Capón between Jirón Andahuaylas and Jirón Paruro in the Historic Center, since it is where the oriental style infrastructure has developed the most. On the tour I could see that it is a very busy area, people come and go everywhere, trade is very active and Chinese food restaurants abound offering the best of the cuisine of that country.

In another place not far from there, I was fortunate to find the Food Town Restaurant, I took advantage of the fact that I was on the wave of Chinese culture and decided to eat something simple. I ordered chicken soup with wantan and chaufa rice with pork, obviously I could not miss the local soft drink. As you can see, the site is neat and clean.

Great post. I enjoyed this walk. WE have a China town in Melbourne too. I haven't eaten proper Chinese food for a while - might have to get some in Melbourne.

The Chinese food is exquisite, what I ordered was very simple but it met expectations. Don't waste any more time and order something 😉. Thank you for your visit dear friend.

Yes, the majority of China Towns are all over the World, mixed with local culture, but the high light is the color red. I like post. Thank you.

You are absolutely right, the red color predominates in this place and I am sure most Chinese towns in the world too, it looks beautiful. I'm so glad you liked my post, thanks for the support.

Great walk post always cool to see the Chinatown in other cities

Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :), I truly enjoy exploring the world virtually each Wednesday seeing walks from all around the globe and feeling I am there and experiencing it all myself, such as I did in your post just now :)

The magic of this community is that it allows us to travel the world through the experience of others who of course document their walks very well. I always come to this corner to relax and see wonderful places, this time it was my turn to share my walk. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the warm welcome. Regards!

its totally my pleasure to host and support the wednesday walk :)

Such a great walk around, it looks like a nice place to visit @musicandreview 😁
People around enjoying themselves. And to finish with some great food.
Thanks for that, I enjoyed walking along 👋🏻 Happy Wednesday!

I think there is no better way to end a walk than with a provocative food, I finished my tour a little tired and that helped me to recharge my batteries. It's a pleasure that you liked my post, thank you very much for your visit and your comment. Take care 😉! Happy Wednesday.

You are so welcome 😁👋🏻
I can imagine, especially when your tired from the walk. Nice food will always help. We tend to do the same. Once we are out for a walk, why not getting some lunch out too.
