Remember this guy from the last edition of Mipiano's Wednesday Walk? Gulliver, yes. He is the starting point of today's leg-stretching activity, that is, noticing some small details that a city or a park can offer you. They are all around us, those tiny pieces that make a place worth spending some time. Gulliver was not hard to spot, you agree. He was not that tiny.
But what happens to the little ghosts or creatures from fictional worlds that guard the bridges, that are surrounded by little bright stars and bring fear or love? Wait, you think I am talking nonsense again; Correction: just having a syndrome without a specific name but with symptoms of being affected by that previous post of going down the slide. I am going to come back to reality in no time and maybe you can see for yourself these facts I just said, in case you continue reading these lines.
First, let's see the background and the scene that we put on this podium.
We are in the Turia Garden, in the city you already know from some of my posts. There is no point in mentioning its name again, I think it will be considered spam, but I will be happy to spend some time here if invited by my son and bring some of those moments here. Also, even without a special invitation, I would be happy to come here from time to time.
The Turia River used to flow through here, but after a major flood in the middle of the last century, the river was diverted to another place and this park was built here, like a green belt surrounding some areas of the city. For this reason, there are numerous bridges here. The one you see in the photo above is Puente del Mar.
The next bridge we are going to see now is the one where the promised fictional creatures live. They take care of Puente del Ángel Custodio and create order among drivers and pedestrians. If you don't obey a red light at the traffic light, you have a good chance of being chased by this fine creature all day long. What a fear!!
His twin on the other side promises love to those who deserve it. A heart reserved probably for pedestrians waiting for a green light or for those who just decide to stand there and keep him company? I haven't asked him but what I see is that he doesn't have a very nice view, just some boring residential buildings.
The third bridge in today's walk is Puente de Aragón. Another little creature lives here, created by an unknown street artist. Ready to meet him? So, first the bridge, and then in a second or two (depending on how quickly you scroll down) you will meet Mister Blue Eyes.
Boo!
You can relax now; no more scary or lovely surprises here, just a regular walk around the Palau de la Música de València and white columns that surround that whole section of Turia Garden.
Just hold on... many more white columns are coming... You pass under one of those and more appear in the background. 😆
Switching to palm trees would be a good idea, but then again, in the background, the white columns can be seen. I am starting to fail with this story, the main characters already appeared, and the surprises faded... it was time to go back to my son's place.
Wait, there is something shiny in the ground, among the dry conifer needles.
The promised shiny stars ⭐️
I have no idea btw how and why they ended up here. 🤷♀
When we show what we have seen on our walks, we are generally tempted to highlight the big things that dominate the landscape. I like that you chose to refer to the small and often ignored things, I like that you like to change habits that sometimes make us boring.
Small details are those that give us a smile, right? Something unexpected and many times hidden for that reason to surprise us :))
Thank you @bluemoon and sorry for the late response, I had a very busy day, so yeah, today I had to focus on big things and didn't get time to search for the hidden details 😅
There are two things that catch my attention in your beautiful walk. The palm trees are always beautiful and the little stars perhaps unintentionally put there for you. With the same effect as if they were in the sky. Have you made a wish? A hug.🤗😇❤️
The palm trees and the little stars make a nice match :)
No, I haven't made a wish, well, I didn't know I should. I just know when we see a shooting star we make a wish 💫 Gracias Mamani por su comentario, se lo agradezco 😇
Have the stars stirred your creative juices ???? Will we be seeing similar in the stlye of Miss P lol
Oh, I don't know what will we be seeing... now it is just a completely exhausted mind here 🤣
LOl, sounds like chill time is required
Required but still not acquired 😂
oh dear, I shall chill for you lol
Do it, please 😂
I did
It was good
😂
Those little stars are beautiful, surely a little girl had them in a little bag and they fell out.
The whole walk is beautiful but what I liked the most and I even took a picture of them were the guardians! What a beauty, they look like gargoyles, they are great and I love the bridges!!!! I'd love to see the palm galleries, there are a lot of similar ones here.
Thank you I love it!💗
I had the same impression, the guardians of the bridge looked like gargoyles ;D
I just walked here but drove in other parts of the city, I hope I didn't go through a red light to be chased by one of these creatures hahaha 😂
You are still alive... you were saved hahaha🤣
So maybe this car that was chased, you see what a mess in one roundabout 😂
It's her!!! The mark of the gargoyle!
Definitely! I was telling the truth, here the evidence
😂😂
I'd better cross the streets well and if not I'll bring the gargoyle home hahaha
I have to buy a microscope to see the magical details around me hahahahahjjj Beautiful views!! thank you!
Hahaha, maybe the magical details just like to play hide and seek 😆, but I am sure they are present! ✨
So, they play hide and seek!! Now I understand why i am not really along ever jajajj
