Not only is it cold here in the North Country, it's also incredibly windy these last couple of days. The temperatures are in the teens, but the wind chill puts temps in the negative numbers. Today's 35 mph wind gusts are making the temperature feel like -13. Needless to say, we've been inside a lot. We've also received a lot of surprise snow the last few nights. I check the forecast and don't see snow, but then we wake up to plows whirring down the street.
Yesterday, after I picked my daughter up for school, we decided to go for a short walk while she still had her snow suit on. The town of Rouses Point does look really cute and peaceful in the snow. However, the wind is brutal and we could see it swirling the snow around in the air while we were on our walk.
Wish you have a beautiful day. Your daughter looks very happy to walk. Since it's very cold, take care of her. Your daughter is very sweet. May your walking moments with her be beautiful.
Thank you, wishing you a beautiful day, too : )
we havent had much snow so far and hope I am not tempting fate by saying that LOL
we only had one fallof snow that settles and was gone in a few days, but we do have the wind and cold temps makes getting out not fun at all
Thanks for joining the Wednesday Walk :)
You're in Massachusetts, right? The wind is what makes it unbearable. The unpredictable snow in Vermont messed up my work week so bad. Hoping for a better upcoming week 🤞
yes Indeed in mA, and the wind this past week has been horrible, Lets hope this week is a better week for you there
