Wednesday Walk - ‘As above, so below’ materialised in the sunset at La Zeta Lagoon: the perfect reflection in the water. / "Como es arriba, es abajo" materializado en el atardecer de la Laguna La Zeta: el reflejo perfecto en el agua. 😃❤️

One of the phrases I like very much is ‘As above, so below’. This phrase was taught to me by my grandmother and I later read and understood it thanks to the book of the Kybalion. Day by day I try to give it an applied meaning to my life, in a way that allows me to properly organise my material and spiritual selves until they are in balance. During one of my walks in Esquel I saw this phrase materialised, and I was very happy to have done it at the right moment in my life when my ‘above’ and my ‘below’ were in harmony. The La Zeta Lagoon was the perfect setting for this, forming an incredible reflection on one of the autumn afternoons 😃.

Una de las frases que me gusta mucho es la de "Como es arriba, es abajo". Esta frase me la enseñó mi abuela y posteriormente la leí y comprendí gracias al libro del Kybalion. Día a día le intento dar un sentido aplicado a mi vida, de forma tal que me permite organizar adecuadamente mi yo material y mi yo espiritual hasta que están en equilibrio. Durante uno de mis paseos en Esquel vi esta frase materializada, y me alegré mucho por haberlo hecho en el momento justo en el que en mi vida, mi "arriba" y mi "abajo" estaban en armonía. La Laguna La Zeta fue el escenario perfecto para esto, formando un reflejo increíble en una de las tardes de otoño 😃.

This year, the autumn was quite mild while I was in the city of Esquel. During the day the temperatures remained pleasant enough to go for a walk, while at night it dropped considerably, but I was always at home so that wasn't a problem for me. I liked to go out to take advantage of the sunny hours as much as possible, but after having been at the Willmanco Lagoon at sunset, I realised that the lagoons here are so mirror-like and calm that they form large mirrors at that time of the day 😃.

Este año, el otoño fue bastante suave mientras estuve en la ciudad de Esquel. Durante el día las temperaturas se mantenían lo suficientemente agradables como para ir a dar un paseo, mientras que a la noche bajaba considerablemente, pero siempre estaba en casa así que eso no era problema para mí. Me gustaba salir a aprovechar las horas de sol lo más posible, pero después de haber estado en la Laguna Willmanco al atardecer, me dí cuenta de que las lagunas acá son tan espejadas y tranquilas que forman grandes espejos a esa hora del día 😃.

This time I hadn't planned to stay at sunset at La Zeta Lagoon, my friend and I simply stayed a little longer at our picnic after the trek and by the time we returned, the sun had already started to set. This time of day is perfect for a walk around the lagoon because the views you get are beautiful. I love the reflections in the water, and seeing La Zeta Lagoon like this was amazing. It was so hypnotic that I couldn't take my eyes off it ❤️.

Esta vez no había planeado quedarme al atardecer en la Laguna La Zeta, simplemente mi amiga y yo nos quedamos un poco más de tiempo en nuestro picnic después del trekking y para cuando volvímos, el sol ya había empezado a caer. Este momento del día es perfecto para dar un paseo alrededor de la laguna porque las vistas que se obtienen son hermosas. Me encantan los reflejos en el agua, y ver a la Laguna La Zeta así fue increíble. Era tan hipnótico que no podía despegar mis ojos ❤️.

When we had arrived, with the sun at its highest point, this landscape looked bright and yellowish due to the autumn, but a few hours later it was completely purplish. The water was so calm, you could see the reflection perfectly. It was still a long time before these mountains were covered with snow, but they still looked beautiful. I was glad that I had been walking at the right time to see this landscape ❤️.

Cuando habíamos llegado, con el sol en su punto más alto, este paisaje se veia brillante y amarillento debido al otoño, pero unas horas más tarde ya estaba completamente violáceo. El agua estaba tan calmada, que se podía ver el reflejo perfectamente. Todavía faltaba bastante tiempo para que estas montañas se cubrieran de nieve, pero aún así se veían lindas. Me gustó haber estado paseando en el momento justo para ver ese paisaje ❤️.

As for the phrase ‘As above, so below’, I like this phrase because it refers to the fact that your mind is reflected in your material state. This phrase manages to relate psychology to physical health, or thoughts to the order of your tangible things. I like to use this phrase to analyse myself from time to time: I am generally a tidy person, but when perhaps the days go by and I have all my things jumbled up, it is because my thoughts are also jumbled up. And one thing influences the other, because when I start tidying up, I soon feel calm in my mind 😅.

En cuanto a la frase "Como es arriba, es abajo", esta frase me gusta porque hace referencia a que tu mente se refleja en tu estado material. Esta frase logra relacionar la psicología con la salud física, o los pensamientos con el orden de tus cosas tangibles. Me gusta usar esta frase para analizarme de vez en cuando: yo generalmente soy una persona ordenada, pero cuando quizás pasan los días y tengo todas mis cosas revueltas, es porque también lo estan mis pensamientos. Y una cosa influye en la otra, porque cuando me pongo a ordenarlas, pronto siento tranquilidad mental 😅.

I also like to think positive thoughts that attract good things in my material self, such as new travel proposals or interacting with people who bring good things into my life. In a reverse sense, acquiring valuable material things predisposes me to be in a good mood and to feel that I can get many more valuable things. This constant manipulation of our spiritual and material selves can lead us to live in a state of psychic and physical balance that I quite like. I am glad to have discovered that I have this power, and we all have it so we should not hesitate to try ❤️.

También me gusta tener pensamientos positivos que atraigan cosas buenas en mi yo material, como nuevas propuestas de viaje o relacionarme con gente que aporte cosas buenas en mi vida. En un sentido inverso, adquirir cosas materiales valiosas me predispone a estar de buen humor y a sentir que puedo conseguir muchas cosas valiosas más. Esta constante manipulación de nuestros yo espiritual y material puede llevarnos a vivir en un estado de equilibrio psíquico y físico que me gusta bastante. Me alegra haber descubierto que tengo este poder, y todos lo tenemos así que no deberíamos dudar en intentarlo ❤️.

I liked this walk by the lagoon because it not only gave me a chance to see a great landscape, but also to reflect a bit on the balance that my life had at that time (and fortunately still has to this day). I think my thoughts are at peace, because I am where I want to be and doing what I want to do, and that is reflected in my material self, with my good health and enough energy to go where I like to be. This attraction between ‘up’ and ‘down’ happens all the time, and when you can control it, you can get a lot of good things. And I was reminded of that once again by this beautiful scenario ❤️.

Esta paseo por la laguna me gustó porque no solo me sirvió para ver un paisaje genial, sino también para reflexionar un poco sobre el equilibrio que tenía mi vida en ese momento (y que por suerte sigue teniendo hasta el día de hoy). Pienso que mis pensamientos están en paz, porque estoy donde quiero y haciendo lo que quiero, y eso se refleja en mi yo material, con mi buena salud y suficiente energía como para ir a donde me gusta estar. Esta atracción entre "arriba" y "abajo" ocurre todo el tiempo, y cuando lográs controlarlo, podés obtener muchas cosas buenas. Y eso me lo recordó una vez más este escenario hermoso ❤️.
