I tried walking from my workplace back to my apartment.
Happy Wednesday to all my friends. Hope you all had a great time.
After finishing work on Wednesday, I decided to try walking home for the first time. Normally, I travel by car, but since my car was having issues, I had to find another way to get home. So, I walked from my workplace to the BTS station, which is about 800 meters away.
Honestly, I feel like it wasn’t so bad. Normally, if I were driving, I’d probably be stuck in traffic for a long time due to the heavy congestion. Walking back instead allowed me to take in the surrounding scenery, which offered a different perspective. As expected in a big city like Bangkok, most of the surroundings consist of buildings, shops, and cars. Finding green spaces or nature is quite rare, so to experience real natural beauty, you'd likely have to venture outside the city.
- When I arrived at the BTS station, I found the commute to be quite easy, as there were clear signs guiding the way. The advantage is that it’s very fast; however, the downside is that it can get a bit crowded during rush hour. Nevertheless, it wasn’t too inconvenient, as I only traveled for two stations, taking less than five minutes.
I think the walk was actually quite fun. Once I reached the final BTS station, I had to walk down an alley since my home is about 1 kilometer away from the station.
After that, I had to walk into the alley, which is lined with many shops selling various types of food, making it very convenient for shopping. However, the alley is quite narrow, so when walking, I need to stay close to the edge of the path to avoid being hit by passing cars.
There was one thing that caught my attention as I was heading to my accommodation, and that was the mangoes that looked so delicious. I decided to buy a set to take back to my room. And that was my journey after finishing work.
Thank you for always following and supporting me. ❤️

Government Complex still gives me nightmares about queuing for visas when I lived in Bangkok! Much easier here on Koh Samui :-)
Hope you're well and enjoyed your walk. Nice to see the new BTS line open now :-)
Thank You. I hope you enjoy on Koh Samui too :-)
I prefer Bangkok to be honest. It's a little bit boring here ;-)
I think there are more activities to do there than in Bangkok. hehe
a cool walk and glad it was fun, do you think when your car is fixed up you would consider still walking sometimes ;)
