Open cast mining makes a mess of the landscape, total devastation to the land. Hope one day when they finished making money the government orders them to restore as much as they are able.

Beauty and the beast, comes to mind yes pretty in the colour the water has taken, deadly for most everything else in the region.

Interesting visit and walk, thanks for sharing.

    Yes @joanstewart hope the government will do something about it one day. But this has been going on for 5000 years in that area. Could be to late.
