The Complete Experience

A couple of weeks ago we had a dream weekend, not only did we enjoy the sea and the most beautiful waters that life has given us, but we stayed in a rural and very, very secluded place. Our farm was so far away that there was not even an asphalt road, we were practically in the middle of nature, surrounded by trees, lots of fireflies to light up the darkness of the night and farm animals, so it was not just a walk to the beach, we really had The Complete Experience...

Hace un par de semanas tuvimos un fin de semana de ensueño, y es que no solo disfrutamos del mar y las aguas más hermosas que la vida nos ha regalado, sino que nos hospedamos en un lugar rural y muy, pero muy retirado del pueblo. Nuestra finca estaba tan lejos que ni siquiera había una carretera de asfalto, prácticamente estábamos en medio de la naturaleza, rodeado por árboles, muchas luciérnagas que alumbraran la oscuridad de la noche y animales de granja, así que no fue solo un paseo a la playa, realmente tuvimos La Experiencia Completa...

From the moment we arrived I was captivated by the road to our lodging place, so Saturday morning dawned and early in the morning I went out with my wife while the rest of our companions got up and got ready for a day at the beach. Our walk was long, and even though the sun was shining early it was still cool. We walked far away from the farm, but we were not afraid, there were not even close neighbors, it was nature and us laughing and taking pictures of everything we saw, although it was similar, many shades of green in contrast to the blue of the sky.

Desde que llegamos me cautivó la vía de nuestro lugar de hospedaje, así que amaneció el Sábado y muy temprano salí con mi esposa mientras el resto de nuestros compañeros se levantaban y se alistaban para un día de playa. Nuestro paseo fue largo, y a pesar de que el sol brillaba desde muy temprano aún estaba fresco. Nos alejamos mucho de la finca, pero no teníamos miedo, ni siquiera había vecinos cercanos, era la naturaleza y nosotros riendo y tomando fotografías de todo lo que veíamos, aunque era parecido, muchos tonos de verdes en contraste con el azul del cielo.

We saw many animals along the way, usually in the distance and behind fences. Many hens and roosters and some horses, and to our surprise we came to an area where there was a very large herd of buffalo, that we never imagined and with some fear we photographed them from afar.

Vimos muchos animales en el camino, generalmente a lo lejos y detrás de las cercas. Muchas gallinas y gallos y algunos caballos, y para nuestra sorpresa llegamos a una zona donde tenía una manada muy grande de búfalos, eso sí no lo imaginamos nunca y con algo de temor los fotografiamos desde lejos.

The bad thing is that our walk had to end when we discovered that one of them was outside the fence, and even though he was eating grass passionately he kept looking at us very ugly. My wife also got a little upset because I dared to approach to look for a good picture of our friend, but her heavy stare made me back away fast and go back... The heavy stare thing was also because of my wife 🤣

Lo malo es que nuestro paseo tuvo que terminar cuando descubrimos que uno de ellos estaba fuera de la cerca, y aunque comía pasto apasionadamente se nos quedó viendo muy feo. Mi esposa también se molestó un poco porque me atreví a acercarme para buscar una buena fotografía de nuestro amigo, pero su mirada pesada me hizo retroceder rápido y volver... Lo de la mirada pesada también era por mi esposa 🤣

At the end we went back to the farm and to make the scare and discomfort go away I took some pictures of him with the flowers at the entrance, but I had already made him smile a lot on the way back and it was the beginning of a wonderful day...

Al final volvimos a la finca y para que pasara el susto y la molestia le tomé algunas fotografías con las flores de la entrada, igual ya le había sacado muchas sonrisas en el regreso y fue el inicio de un día maravilloso...
