Greetings, how are you friends, hope you Will always be happy. Share the experience of visiting the Sumenep Palace Museum. The palace museum is located on Jalan Dr.Sutomo no.6 Sumenep City , Madura island.
I visitor the Sumenep Palace Museum wanting to know about the history of the Sumenep kingdom, to enter the palace museum visitor have to by a ticket of 10.000,- IDR ($0,6) per person. The palace museum holds a large collection of historical object and the Kings who led the territory.
I was at the Sumenep Palace Museum accompained by a guide to explain the buildings and historical object left by the kingdom. The Sumenep Palace complex was built around 1762 durung the reign of king Tumenggung Arya Natakusuma.
The architect who design this palace complex was a Chinese nation who lives in Sumenep. The architectural style of the palace buildings are islamic,European,Javanese and Chinese. At least there are 4 building complexes and one Taman sare princes bathing building.
I entered the first building complex, the guide explained the order of the rules of the Sumenep kingdom at that time, one of which was the kingdom of Arya Witaradja who led around 1269 to 1292.
Until the Regent who led at this time and also explained the history of the golden carriage king Arya Witaradja which is around 1000 years old.
