Today I am here to share some pictures from my latest walk through another part of Cabudare, where I live, adjacent to the main avenue of La Mata.

This time, I was walking very close to La Mata Avenue, which is the main avenue in Cabudare, at midday under a sky filled with gray clouds that blocked out the strong rays of the sun. There I found the greengrocer's, a supermarket very close to the Kari hypermarket, both very popular in the city for their excellent selection of groceries, meat, and deli products.

Nearby is the prefecture of the municipality of Palavecino, where people go to register children and file complaints. The prefecture headquarters is a modest two-story house with trees adorning its facade, where we registered our daughter 24 years ago.

There I found a relic: a coin-operated telephone like the ones we used 25 or 30 years ago, when coins and magnetic cards still existed. It was our ally before cell phones were invented.

In that area, there are gyms and various businesses selling hamburger equipment. I also passed by a building whose facade paint has deteriorated over the years, reminding me that quite some time ago I prepared a quote for the condominium to have it painted, but they did not approve it and apparently still have not.

Several apartment buildings stand on these wide streets, as well as businesses that have been around for many years and have witnessed the modernization of this small city with a large population.

Caminando por algunas calles de la ciudad de Cabudare.

Saludos estimados amigos de la comunidad. @wednesdaywalk, espero que estén disfrutando de una excelente y productiva semana.

Hoy paso por aquí para llevarles imágenes de mi último recorrido por otro sector de Cabudare, donde resido, adyacente a la avenida principal de La mata.

Esta vez estuve caminando muy cerca de la avenida la mata, que es la principal de Cabudare, en horas del mediodía y bajo un cielo con abundantes nubes grises, que opacaban el paso de los fuertes rayos solares. Allí encontré la verdureria, un supermercado muy cercano al hipermercado Kari, ambos muy concurridos en la ciudad por su excelente surtido en víveres, carnes y charcutería.

Allí cerca está ubicada la prefectura del municipio Palavecino, donde acuden las personas a presentar niños y a hacer denuncias. La sede de la prefectura es una modesta casa de dos plantas, con árboles que adornan su fachada y donde precisamente presentamos a nuestra hija hace ya 24 años.

Allí encontré una reliquia: un teléfono monedero de los que usamos hace ya unos 25 o 30 años atrás, cuando existían las monedas y las tarjetas magnéticas. Era nuestro aliado cuando no se había inventado la telefonía celular.

Por ese sector hay gimnasios y variados negocios de venta de implementos para hamburguesas. También pasé por un edificio cuya pintura en su fachada se ve deteriorada por el paso de los años y me hizo recordar que hace bastante tiempo le preparé un presupuesto al condominio para la pintura pero no lo aprobaron y al parecer siguen sin hacerlo.

Varios edificios de apartamentos se levantan en esas calles amplias y también negocios que se han mantenido desde hace muchos años y que han presenciado la modernización de esta pequeña ciudad que alberga gran número de habitantes.
