WEDNESDAY ERRAND | "A Short Walk Featuring Financial Blessing!"

An individual's life won't be complete with just receiving blessings and opportunities. Obstacles including problems will make it more thrilling and yes, complete!

Upon facing such struggles, every person's physical body and mind will surely be wornout. Therefore, taking a walk outside can guarantee to give a relaxing moment to each one, even in just an ample amount of time. This will enable individuals to exhale negativities and inhale a higher dosage of positivity.

Since November, I've been struggling, financially which is due to the expenses associated to thesis outline and departmentalized presentation.

At first, my November to December earnings from crypto-blogging can finance it. However, those earnings starts to deplete until I can no longer accumulate even $5. In order to provide for my educational needs, I was left with only one choice and that is: "to convert all the remaining crypto in my e-wallet."

Apparently, my thesis outline presentation held last Friday (01.06.2023) drained all my money. By now? I was only left with PhP 28.00 ($0.51) and where can that amount will lead me to?

At this point, I am currently facing one of the downfalls of an independent lady and a family's breadwinner.

Thus, it was undeniably true that "blessings will come, unexpectedly!" And today, I had witnessed it to happen. One more time!

In this blog, let me take you on a short walk whereas the path had led me to acquire another financial blessing:

The cash allowance from my main scholarship had been processed around September and by November, the cash cheques were given to the University's Cashier's Office. Consequently, we are not able to receive it on-time until it became pending for 3-months.

As a struggling college student, that amount will really be a great help. And today, I and my close friend had decided to take a step.

We contacted our Scholarship Coordinator to ask for her permission if we can personally get the cheque and we got her permission but not a guarantee. Still, we've decided to give it a try.

Around 12:55PM, I arrived at the National Highway where I can wait for a PUV to ride at. And, after a few minutes, got to ride at a PUV.

Despite of the hot weather, I am still able to enjoy the ride by looking up on the surroundings. The combination of blue and green is really a great and relaxing view! In just 25 minutes of land travel, I finally arrived at our University.

I waited for my friend for about five minutes before she arrived with her long-time boyfriend. We discussed for awhile on what we will do and say and because she's shy, I am the one who talked to the staff at the Cashier's Office.

I told the staff that we are a scholars from V*P and then asked if we can get the cheque indicating our cash allowance. Honestly, we are quite worried and our hearts were pumping too fast! We aren't sure if we can get it or not but the worries were uplifted when the staff asked for our School IDs.

More or less 7-minutes had passed, another male staff told us to sign some documents and finally! Twenty pieces of blue bills were given hand-on-hand to us:

Imagine how my heart beats for so much happiness and relief. I leaved our house carrying a financial burden in my shoulders and didn't expect to go home with the same problem to be SOLVED.

Of course, I will spend every single centavos and pesos, wisely and to senseful things. Gonna do the budgeting and planning, later on!

CLOSING THOUGHTS

Financial problems are inevitable and will always be there, waiting for the perfect timing to come along our ways. Not purely to hinder us upon achieving greater things but to make us more stronger to face tougher problems in the future.

Today's short walk had not only exercised my physical body. Hence, it also made my mind to be relaxed. In the two-way process of travelling, I met a SOLUTION for my existing problem. And yes, a short walk can really bring great things! Knowingly and unknowingly. Expectedly and unexpectedly. 🍀
