They say that repetition develops into a habit and it looks like I have written enough #wednesdaywalk posts (a challenge initiated by @tattoodjay) to make a habit out of it!
But my last walk (with some kind of camera) was on Sunday and I have already told you about it. So I'll have to resort to my archive, for one more time and invite you for a walk at Patras!
Patras is Greece's third-largest city and the regional capital of Western Greece, in the northern Peloponnese, 215 km (134 mi) west of Athens. The city is built at the foot of Mount Panachaikon, overlooking the Gulf of Patras.

OK we call it a city but it is more like a town with a population of around 2-3 hundreds thousands people. And like most Greek towns it resembles a big village, easy to get around and hard to remain anonymous :)
I particularly appreciated the large open spaces and the renovated old buildings. I am not a big fun of modern block of flats (at least the kind we have around here) but when you have a few buildings older than 100 years scattered among them, the result is a bit more appealing!
And of course the big asset of Patras is its relation with the sea. A constant supply of fresh air, long walks along the coastline and mesmerising sunsets to watch with your friends! What more to ask from a town big enough to cover all your needs and small enough to remain friendly and easy to live in!
On the other hand if you feel like traveling you just hop on the ferry around the corner and in a few hours you can be at one of the gorgeous islands of the Ionian sea or to Italy! The line Patras - Venice is my personal favourite :)

Beautiful colours and captures.
Thank you very much @littlebee4 :)
It is a lovely town indeed!
You are welcome @fotostef 😊
I am impressed by the photos, you say that it is more like a village and you make me feel that in my town we are in diapers haha how much modernity wow Greece would like to go someday, so much history and beauty.
Haha you are right. When I wrote that it looks like a village I was thinking that it does, compared to big European or American cities. But of course not only them read my posts, thanks for pointing it out :)
