Wednesday Walk: my teeny tiny adventure

Today the weather was appropriate to go outside I was aiming to have a walk and listen to music so I dressed up and went out the first thing I felt when I just step out of the main door was the cold breeze on my face I needed that to freshen up I live in an Apartment complex at the center of Baghdad it is called Haifa St. such a nice place not very crowded and near of any place you want so I started walking with no specific destination just enjoying the good weather and see people in the street this is where I live

I walked to a local market near my place about ten or fifteen minutes walk It has everything you want of local food, groceries, dairies, and local handmade sweets and bakeries
I first bought a regional middle east Falafel it is about a Paste of chickpeas (humous) shaped into a circular shape then fried in heavy oil served hot with east salad and sauce

so I resumed my way after the heavy meal I found a little bakery do Kleiche It is a very popular in my hometown we usually make it at Eid al-Fitr it is about a Paste that we stuff it with sweet things like date, a mix of Sesame and sugar, coconut, walnut which I hate cause I don't like things stuffed with nuts or we do not put anything in it, also taste good It a day-long work to make so I chose the easy way

I also bought a natural not manufactured butter

also, I get things we need at home

then I ride local transportation it is cheap and passes through different regions you can waste time and enjoy the view

this place is an amusement park called al Zawra'a park it has the biggest Air wheel in Baghdad

it was a really amazing time and helpful weather I enjoyed it a lot I hope you also enjoyed your Wednesday I on purpose shared this day with you to show you how small things could make your day.
