Walking on Wednesdays, before dawn and in the winter sun

Who would have thought that such a dark, foggy morning could ever turn into a bright and sunny day?
But that's how it is during the winter solstice, the period of the year when the days are the shortest, when the sun rises after 7am and sets before 4pm...

If at some point there is a possibility that the sun will warm us, it is in the period from 10am to 2pm.
It was the same this Wednesday.
The morning did not promise that I would walk a lot, but I used the warmest and sunniest part of the day to walk to the park in the new neighborhood of Belgrade, where the "Winter Fairy Tale" was set.

I went there to check if the setup is similar to previous years, in order to prepare the ground in advance for a tour at night, when this park will look much more beautiful, lit up with lights and decorations.
I didn't need light during the day, there was enough of it from the sun, and the glare of the whitewash on the icy surface made it difficult to see without sunglasses, which I didn't bring on the walk.

What are my sunglasses for, I thought, when I needed a flashlight in the morning 😁

We finished the walk before the sun went down from the horizon, enjoying a warm, cozy cafe, making plans for celebrating the upcoming holidays.

Regardless of the dark and cold morning and late afternoon, this day still had its great moment, my #wednesdaywalk in a beautifully landscaped park.
