Hello everyone,
I was recently diagnosed with Covid-19 and had to isolate for a week. Life being plunged into continual upheaval after more than two years of the Covid-19 pandemic can feel exhilarating. I was fortunate enough to be vaccinated three times, allowing my body to produce antibodies and allowing me to be unconcerned about it. Fever, cough, and cold symptoms have made it a difficult time. It is, believe me, an extremely unpleasant sensation. I felt a little better after four days and could taste some food. After 7 days, I was fully recovered and able to resume my normal activities. In my perspective, the seven days of quarantine also changed something. "Give more, expect less" will make my life easier, allowing me to accomplish anything I want and, most importantly, take better care of myself by exercising more consistently, as being physically fit will make me feel happier and have more positive energy.
I began running because I recognized the benefits, particularly for those who had recently returned from Covid-19 positive. I am confident that I will continue to do it on a more regular basis. I tried to get up at 5 a.m., clean my teeth, drink some water, change into my jogging clothes, put on my sneakers, and get ready for a 10-kilometer run this morning.
It's my first time running on the Ho Chi Minh Highway, which is a truly magnificent route. During the Vietnam War, this road was known as one of the most crucial outstanding logistical feats. The trail that runs through Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park is only a small component of the road system, yet it plays an important role in providing soldiers, food, and ammunition during combat.
I run for around 5 kilometers on this big and lovely track, stopping occasionally along the way to take some photos of the empty and beautiful scenery on both sides of the road.
In the early morning, standing right here to observe the vista of mountains, river, and wild flowers while taking a deep breath is an incredible feeling. My lungs seem to be rejuvenated in such a powerful way. I went left after 5 kilometers on the Ho Chi Minh Highway to run through Phong Nha's downtown area. Phong Nha town was a popular town with many international tourists a few years ago when the Convid-19 did not appear. It now appears to be more tranquil, with only a few locals on the road. It's a pity that most of the hotels in this region had to close owing to a lack of tourists. I just hope that when the Vietnamese government permits international tourists to enter, Phong Nha will become more busy and vibrant. As a result, after "sleeping" for over two years, more locals will have income.
My journey continues as I run the final 3 kilometers along the gorgeous Son river, watching folks harvest water mosses from the river's bottom. This type of moss is a food source for the carp fish that locals raise to provide traditional meals for tourists visiting Phong Nha. If you ask me what time of year is the best to visit Phong Nha, I will tell you that this is the finest time to undertake all of the outdoor things here. The weather is perfect: not too hot, not too cold, the water is crystal clear and blue, and the air is crisp.
Running is one of the most effective ways to eliminate pollutants through the sweat glands. Running in the fresh air while taking in the sights will improve the efficacy and enjoyment of your run. Maintaining this boosts resilience to a variety of illnesses, including covid-19. Keeping a positive attitude, supplementing with nutrients, drinking water on a regular basis, and undertaking modest exercise have all assisted me in quickly defeating Covid-19. I hope that many people battling with the covid-19 pandemic will find inspiration in this post.
