Hello my dear friends,
This is my first time writing a new post in Wednesday Walk, and I'm eagerly looking forward to learning more about this community by reading your posts.
How are you doing today? I hope everything is going well for everyone. Today, I'd like to take you on a tour of a very new and spectacular location in Quang Binh province, a wind farm that is considered one of Vietnam's largest wind power projects on land with more than 2000 ha and is built in the two districts of Quang Ninh and Le Thuy in Quang Binh. The project has recently been completed and has become a beautiful check-in location for visitors who travel to Quang Binh in addition to Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park.
After 16 months of hard work, Quang Binh finally received its first commercial wind farm in central Vietnam, which has brought many benefits to the region by preserving the natural environment and providing for future generations.
The wind farm has 60 wind turbines in total for the project, which can generate up to numerous clean sources of renewable energy every year, reducing nearly thousands of tonnes of CO2 emissions. I believed that increasing the amount of electricity generated by wind energy would put Quang Binh on a more sustainable path.
After lunch and an hour of napping, my friends and I decided to ride our motorbikes along the beach (the wind farm near the beach) at 2 p.m., and of course, we didn't forget to bring a camera and drone with us for photographs. It only took us 30 minutes to get to the wind farm (about 20 kilometres from our house). Because of the pandemic, the road appeared more empty and quiet than usual. It means the air was cleaner and less polluted. Today's weather was also fantastic, not hot, not cold and the sun came out.
We left our motorbikes at Mr Long's house, our acquaintance and began walking down to the main road. I first came here two years ago and I returned today to see how much has changed, especially the road network, which has been improved very much. The main reason for this is that investors frequently upgrade local roads in order to transport materials for the wind farm.
The construction of the wind farm in this rural area has also contributed to the locals' income resources by creating jobs, and tourism may develop here as well.
We are permitted to walk around the wind farm without permission or tickets in this section because the general public will be able to access the site. There are also other walking trails that provide spectacular views of the sunset and the wind farm.
We had a great time exploring this new location. We were extremely fortunate to have the sun shining, blue sky, and fresh air. This is absolutely a perfect place for a day out with your family or friends. The road passed through were quiet, peaceful and had stunning views.
Thank you so much for reading.
