What a cool way to find that your friend actually lives close to you! :) Even better to get to spend the whole day, conversing and introducing him to places. The beach is so pretty, always. I am addicted to the beach!
The legend is one I am familiar with. They use the same one in the Dutch Antilles, the Leeward Islands a small one called Curaçao. All the houses are painted in different colors and in the same style. It was where I first heard the legend. It still sounds feasible!

They came just for a few days, for vacation. They live right now in Switzerland, but what a nice surprise they gave us. Actually they didn't know that their accomodation would be that close to us. Just wonderful things 🥰
