Hello everyone! Today's Wednesday walk will be a little different. I will describe my ride in the London Eye. I assume that you have all heard about this wonder of the world, and that many have had the opportunity to see London from the air. Let's go.That morning I woke up visibly frightened, but my curiosity was high and I set off. A friend had bought me a ticket earlier. I walked along the river, following the flow of the water and the noise of the city, and the huge London Eye slowly appeared in front of me.The closer I got to it, the more unreal it seemed to me - as if it were floating above the river, and the cabins were moving silently in a continuous circle.I approached the entrance, checked my ticket, and stood in line. Although there were people, everything was done quickly and in an organized manner. While I waited, I watched the cabins go down and up without stopping. Each one looked like a small glass capsule, and the thought that I would soon find myself inside one of them made me even more curious. When it was my time, I entered the booth along with several other visitors. The door closed, and the cabin slowly began to rise. At first, the climb was so gentle that I didn't even notice that we were moving, but as soon as we left the ground, the view began to change. The city slowly opened up below me, like a map showing all the streets, bridges and buildings unfolding.

As we climbed, I saw Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament in full size. Their outlines from a bird's eye view seemed much clearer than from the ground. On the other side, I saw the river. The bridges. Even though I wasn't at the very top, everything already seemed special. The cabin continued to climb, and when we reached the highest point, the view became incomparable. In front of me stretched the panorama of London all the way to the horizon. I recognized the Shard, the domes of the museum, the squares and the parks.

I spent a few minutes looking at every corner of the cabin and looking for familiar landmarks. Every time I turned around, I would discover something else that I hadn't noticed the moment before. The turning speed was slow, almost imperceptible, which allowed me to enjoy every part of the ride.As the cabin began to slowly descend, the city was approaching again. The details became clearer – the people on the shore, the roofs of the buildings, the red London buses passing over Westminster Bridge. I had the impression that I was slowly descending back into everyday life, after a few minutes spent in a different perspective. As soon as I got out of the cabin, I stopped to take one more look at the Eye from the base. It seemed even bigger than before. I thought it was amazing that something that only lasted about thirty minutes could make such a lasting impression.

This is one of the most beautiful walks I've ever had and I will remember it for a long time. You can read some very interesting facts about the London Eye online.

Wow, you're right, the views are spectacular, some of the most beautiful I've ever seen (in photos). It must be so exciting to be at that height and be able to see that beautiful city from that angle.
