Hola a todos en esta paseadora comunidad.

Para los todos guajiros como yo , desde niño, viajar a la gran urbe habanera siempre era un gran acontecimiento, por ver tantos y tantos km de casas, y edificios juntos.

Mis primeras visitas a la capital. Cubana fueron " llevao", pues era un adolescente que en esos viajes a casa de unos parientes lo unico que podías hacer esra asombrarme .

Pero lo que de no podia faltar era quie el te llevaba te fuese señalando los lugares mas importantes y emblemáticos de la capital .y que ellos tambien de cierto modo les servía de punto de referencia para moverse en el entorno citadino

Hoy he vuelto como muchas otra veces al lugar que realmente concidero el más emblemático de todos y por estar en clavado en el lugar donde confluyen arterias y edificios con mucha historia y de altos valores arquitectónicos.

Ese lugar es el " Parque Central" ,espacio urbanístico de forma rectangular custodiado en su bello entorno por el Hotel Inglaterra. Hotel Telegrafo . Cine Pairet ,Gran teatro de la Habana, el Saratoga, el edificio de Arte universal, la Manzana de Gomes, el Hotel Plaza, y el que lleva el nombre del propio parque

Hoy entrado a este parque arbolado con una visión diferente, y escruto en su esencia de bancos sombreados que llaman al caminante al descanso.

Para mi, lo mas impresionante de este espacio. abierto es el imponente monumento a Jose marti erigido en el centro del mismo que se abre a la vista del transeúnte como un foco de luz en una amplia plazoleta con piso de granito pulido

El monumento, que muestra a un Marti de pie, sobre un alto pedestal, con una mano tendida hacia adelante,nvocando a la unidad de lis cubanos todos.

El monumento que cuenta con varios niveles desde el basamento hasta la figura principal, esta ricamente decorado con bajos y altos relieves alegóricos a diferentes etapas de las gestas libertarias

Siempre he pasado de prisa por el lado de este exquisito monumento, pero hoy he venido especificamente a disfrutar de su riqueza artística.

For the tu guajiros like me, since I was a child, traveling to the great city of Havana was always a great event, to see so many and so many kilometers of houses and buildings together.

Pairet Cinema, Gran Teatro de la Habana, the Saratoga, the Universal Art building, the Manzana de Gomes, the Plaza Hotel, and the one that bears the name of the park itself.

Today I entered this wooded park with a different vision, and I scrutinize in its essence of shaded benches that call the walker to rest.

For me, the most impressive thing about this open space is the imposing monument to Jose Marti erected in the center of it, which opens to the view of the passerby like a spotlight in a wide square with a polished granite floor.

The monument, which shows a standing Marti on a high pedestal, with one hand stretched forward, calling for the unity of all Cubans.

I have always rushed past this exquisite monument, but today I have come specifically to enjoy its artistic richness.
