That is too bad that they have to do surgery, but it sounds like she is going to be in good hands. Pretty lucky that you have so many amazing hospitals within a short distance of you there. I know my mother in law had knee replacement and the pain after the surgery was almost worse than before. The good news is, that is temporary and once she has her new shoulder for a few weeks she will hopefully be much happier.
