That is interesting that school is still going there. We are the same as you say it used to be. We get off right before Christmas and then students and staff don't come back until after the new year.

Time has changed a lot, our was more enjoyable time, but not anymore..they have leave for a day and then again school.
Yeah, it's not uncommon for schools over here to basically go all year. They have more breaks, but the long summer one is quite a bit shorter. A lot of it just depends on if they have HVAC to support summer school.
