There is always something interesting to see along the narrow streets that lead from my house to the port, on my ordinary walk to the bakery and back.
When I left the house today, the sky above my neighborhood was slightly overcast.
I was standing on the relatively large crossroad, just outside my yard ...
... when I noticed two small airplanes, used for scenic flights, that were passing across the vast canvas of the sky. After taking these three shots ...
... I continued downhill, along the narrow street that starts with a bar that looks like a beach bar, with no beach in sight ...
... and continues with some ordinary houses surrounded by dense vegetation ... oleanders ... bamboo ...
... bougainvilleas ... and some other stuff that I didn't photograph today.
There is another, even smaller side street, that branches from the aforementioned small street, and I continued in that direction.
The dog called Bandit, an old dog I know very well, was sleeping in front of his house. It's very hot these days, so cats and dogs all around the town are mostly sleeping or deeply into the meditation during the day.
Homemade cherry plum compote was displayed by the window of the house across the street.
Some meters further, I encountered a sleeping car, parked under the gorgeous bougainvillea flowers. From here, there is a steep staircase passage in between two houses, that leads to another, parallel street.
This shot was taken from there. In the lower right corner of the picture, you can also see another small passage with some garbage cans at its front end ... and on the following photograph ...
... you can take a better, zoomed in look at that place with many small details.
I continued along the aforementioned street, and just around the bend, I noticed this interesting wall ...
... and just across the street, was this empty storefront window, decorated with the sticky remains of adverts and posters that once stood there. This was a travel agency some decades ago.
Some meters further, I took a couple of scenic shots with climbing vines in the foreground ...
... a car passed me by at one point ... and ended up in this post.
About fifty meters further, I noticed this old advert on the now closed restaurant. It's a nice example of old - school design that was prevailing in this area during the eighties.
When I arrived to this fruits and vegetables stand, the final destination was close ... about twenty meters further ...
... after taking this shot, I entered the bakery.
This closing photograph was taken when I bought the bread and some cakes.
As always in these walks on HIVE, the photographs are my work.

Dobry photos, good story!
:)
Your town is beautiful even on a gray summer's day...
Photographs of the flight of the airplane have been captured in an extraordinary way. These go away very quickly so a lot of the time photography is not done clearly. The flowers look great and enhance the beauty of the environment. These flowers were in front of our organization. But a few days ago, they were cut while cleaning the yard of the organization. Thanks.
You enjoyed a lot on Wednesday, sir.
It was great to see photography in many places.
Thanks.
