Winter And The Moon

This winter was different. In general, the winter is different when compared to previous ones. It has long been an unpredictable season. Far from the winters of yesteryear, far from the French question, it is a verse by Francois Villon...
"Où sont les neiges d’antan?"

I like this expression a lot, more its symbolism! This is a pleasure of the old, more a nostalgia.

When I say that this winter is different it is because it finally has... snow! Times have changed, we have changed, and I have come to wonder that winter can be snowy.

After going to a show in town, downtown, you can see it here, Souls Through The Night, returning home forces me (this is one of the few pleasant obligations), to cross a park, very close to my house.

Late in the evening, the park is much more beautiful and mysterious in winter.

First of all, it's deserted and maybe you haven't noticed, or maybe I'm crazy, but the lack of people in the landscape makes it infinitely more beautiful and magical.

It's probably because of me, walking through this park every day and sometimes being overawed by the bustle of people and children. Children are forgiven, it is normal to consume their energy in the park. However, the playground's quiet and quietness is beneficial for a tired and stressed man like me.

We were lucky on this night walk not only to have silence and snow. The moon! Winter nights with the moon are beautiful.

The city lights, like the lights in the park create this mysterious atmosphere that we can hardly be found in a city, even in winter. But it's nothing compared to the nights of my childhood in the country, where the only light came from the moon.

The moonlight reflects off the snow and amplifies the moon's glow.

It was fabulous, it was like a fairy tale. Unfortunately, back then I couldn't take pictures, so this image has only remained in my memory.

But this time something strange happened too. The light in the background, the strange light of the sky, such as I have never seen in this place before. Probably the fog made the city lights reflect on the sky, giving this dark orange color. I hope you noticed it...

I couldn't tear myself away from the park and the moon in the sky. I walked with my head back looking at the moon.

It was one of those rides that sticks in my memory. My tired memory might not retain it all though, so I've put here the evidence and the place to go back to remember.

This whole story might not interest anyone but I hope you find something interesting in the photos. Because, after all, photos are what it's all about.
