Craft walk with lots of colour ending with a delicious hot chocolate. ☕️

Miniature art, crafts, novelties, surprises is what I like most about a walk and if it is accompanied by a hot chocolate in winter, so much the better.

In this Christmas season that has just ended, the walks and hikes have been very special. Everything in the atmosphere was different, the lights, the magic, the colours, the sunsets and the places I could visit, as well as the different art.

When you walk through the centre you inevitably come across the street market on the main avenue, and at this time, for various reasons or places I had to go to, I visited it three times.

The striking thing is that many times you find different shops, or rather, depending on the time you pass by, some of them were closed and open later. These days it has been a bit cold, although not like in other places in Spain, it is quite bearable and you don't need so much warm clothes. Well, if I asked a person from Malaga he would tell me that he was freezing to death.

For that reason I saw people warmer than others and as it is a time of intense tourism and many people come from the northern countries, this climate seems warm to them. Each person is different.

I always tell them that apart from looking at the landscapes, the art, the streets, I also look at the people and that surprises me.

The stalls had a great variety of things that afternoon and they are so well lit that it seems like it is night outside. This time I paid more attention to some things in particular, for example, look at these beautiful elves, I found them pure sweetness.

This stall has so many statuettes that it looks like the streets of Malaga in times of intense tourism, like now. And they seem to be talking to each other... what will they say? These gigantic people passing by stare at us without stopping.

The sweets they sell here, called chuches, still seem strange to me. I remember when my mother arrived and they told her that word, she thought that chuche was a vegetable.

This shop, along with another one I will tell you about, was one of my favourites. It has all fantasy items like dragons, fairies, goblins and they were beautiful. Who wouldn't want one of these beautiful dragons.

But on this walk I found a shop that I hadn't seen before and it is my favourite. Plants in glass pots, naturally bred. I thought it was a rarity and you know I love this nature stuff.

Look at the sheer number and variety of plants and inside each pot a microclimate. I stayed for a moment listening to the owner of the shop to hear what she had to say about her venture and I loved these plants and the presentation.

I loved watching people stop at the stalls and ask questions about what was being sold there, which often had nothing to do with Christmas.

I found this place with these sweet dolls absolutely adorable, they are very endearing.

And this other place with kitchen utensils, but with spectacular and personalised designs, was another originality that I found, of course for children, but they still caught my attention. You could even choose utensils with your name on them.

The afternoon was beautiful and besides the many people in the streets, there was a lot of traffic.

The great variety of stalls meant that next to a stall with dolls or decorations, there was another stall with leather goods. I love the smell of leather, I think it's something I bring with me from Argentina, that taste.

Whatever the fair or flea market I go to, there are always vinyls and the artistic ways in which they are reformed, it's great.

---

There are also a variety of clothing and accessory shops, the keyrings and rings are the ones I liked the most.

I also found another stall that I loved, because they sold a bowl to prepare mate. Yes, Argentinian mate, and that made me happy for the walk. They also sold many other things and I loved them all, lots of variety, style and good taste. My taste, I know.

Look at the helmets or headphones in the shape of Santa, they are very funny.

I like the stalls with accessories too, there is a lot to see and everything is handmade. I really admire that work, I know it takes time and dedication, as well as a lot of love for what you do.

The afternoon was beautiful and I and my companion decided to have a delicious chocolate. I have actually been to this café many times, but I had never ordered chocolate before and when they brought it I couldn't believe how beautifully presented and how big it was. It was super hot and delicious, a very tasty chocolate.

After enjoying such a good drink and also a nice chat, the walk continued into the night.

The streets, as I have told you before, were dressed in lights and around the fountain of the Three Graces they placed giant angels. It was difficult to take pictures of them because they are very far away and it is impossible to get close to them because of the avenue.

I walked on the opposite side of the Christmas market and I could see how life was still going on there, people looking and shopping.

Most of all, on one of the corners there is a car or vehicle that is lit up at night and people queue or line up to have their pictures taken in it. There are attractions everywhere I go and I love that.
