A walk through the traditional Christmas market on a magical night.✨

The lights make the city magical or the city has its own intrinsic magic, I don't know, but what I do know is that these days are special for night walks, and not only for me, but I see the same in most people.

When the sun goes down the lights in the city start to come on for the holidays and that alone is a reason for people to go out and appreciate them and go for a walk, maybe look at the spectacle of lights in the centre, look at shops, buy presents or just walk on a beautiful night full of that something in the atmosphere.

From the moment I arrived the city seemed special to me, as if there was a positive vibe or joy in everything. That doesn't mean that there are no problems or concerns, but in general, that joy is felt and I always say that it is a special energy. But when Christmas and New Year's Eve approach that energy is more intense and walking through the streets makes you notice it a lot.

The main avenue and the park promenade, as it is called, is always the protagonist of the lights, decorations and a traditional Christmas market. In addition, the town hall is also dressed up in colour, when they refract the lights that change colour on it. It looks wonderful.

My walk oscillated between seeing the streets, the lights that made it look like the city was in daylight hours and on the other hand seeing the stalls, the things they were selling and also every now and then I saw places where they sold jacket potatoes, fritters with chocolate, churros and much more.

The stands were very varied, from selling books to thermal bags and in the latter case there was not just one stand dedicated to it but several, at least I counted more than five. The people here suffer a lot from the cold, I always think about it, people wrap up very warm. On the other hand, I have suffered frosts and sub-zero temperatures in Argentina, but here I don't suffer from the cold, in fact, winter seems like autumn to me.

There were toys, sweets, decorations, clothes and everything you can imagine on the stalls, as well as lots of people strolling and looking around, even though it was after 9 pm. Some stalls were already closed, but they were in the minority.

I can't fail to mention this stall at the flea market, it's a very classic one to see and it's all about clocks and decorations made from vinyl records. I know there are many vinyl fans who don't like this craft, but it's something original, there's no denying it.

One of the stands I like the most is the one dedicated to scents, aromas, decorative items. There is always a lot of variety there.

I couldn't help myself, I was really looking for these grinchs everywhere and there were a lot of them here. I think they are a funny, original and even cute character.

I continued my walk among the various dolls, but also among the stalls with the traditional cribs and figurines, I could see them everywhere. This gives families the opportunity to buy the ones they like the most and to build the cribs themselves. There was even a variety of water fountains and I am a fan of water fountains.

What amazes me most about these kind of stalls is how big they are and the amount of items and the variety, so you can always find something you like. Of course, there are many of these nativity-themed stalls as well.

Then there are other stalls that have so many things that you really don't know what to look at, there is no room for anything else. It made me think about the investment that all this entails, both the products and the maintenance of the stand. Each one of them, especially the ones with decorations and characters, bring that fantasy and magic that I always talk about.

It was a wonderful walk, with great weather, at least for me. And at the end of the ride there was this beautiful star where people were taking pictures. There is always something special and I love that.
