Cotton, mushrooms and beetles

Wednesday is a day for walking.

This dead tree shows the South-North direction exactly like a compass. And where will I go? I'm going for a walk. And it was Wednesday, and I went for a walk, and I saw a lot of interesting things around me, and I want to show it to my friends!

Это мёртвое дерево точно компас показывает направление Юг-Север. А куда пойду я? А я пойду на прогулку. И была среда, и пошел я гулять, и видел я много интересного вокруг себя, и хоу я это показать своим друзьям!


These soft blue flowers bloom every morning with the first rays of the Sun, and in the evening they curl up into small lumps and go to bed. Of course, if it's cloudy or even raining outside, then the flowers hide in their little houses like snails. But August is just great this year - the sun shines every day, the weather is warm and even hot. Complete bliss. And in such weather it is very good to walk every morning in a light coolness.

Эти синие цветы распускаются каждое утро с первыми лучами Солнца, а вечером сворачиваются в маленькие комочки и укладываются спать. Конечно, если на улице пасмурно или даже идет дождь, от и цветы прячутся в своих маленьких домиках словно улитки. Но август в этом году просто великолепен - каждый день светит солнышко, стоит теплая и даже жаркая погода. Полное блаженство. И по такой погоде очень хорошо гулять каждое утро по еще прохладе.





A whole field of "cotton". I think it's called thistle. In August, the fields began to turn white from this weed. Once upon a time there was cleanliness in these meadows by autumn, the grass was mown and there were haystacks, you could walk along the edge of the forest and look for mushrooms. Now everything is overgrown with such a misfortune and even the road along the forest has become impassable.

Целое поле "хлопка". Кажется это называется чертополох. В августе поля стали делаться белыми от этого сорняка. Когда-от на этих лугах к осени была чистота, трава была скошена и стояли стога сена, можно было ходить по кромке леса и искать грибы. Сейчас всё заросло вот такой напастью и даже дорога вдоль леса стала труднопроходимой.











But I did find a mushroom. And if you, friends, take a closer look, then 2 such mushrooms are still visible from the back left. But they were inedible. Worms have already started eating them.

А я нашел всё же гриб. И если вы, друзья, присмотритесь, то сзади слева еще видно 2 таких гриба. Но они были несъедобные. Их уже начали есть черви.


When I was making my way through the young pines, I saw this mustachioed beetle on a branch. He was big! These beetles can destroy large areas of trees.

Когда я пробирался сквозь молоденькие сосны, то увидел этого усатого жука на ветке. Он был большой! Эти жуки могут уничтожить большие участки деревьев.








Bugs. Probably, there are already a lot of beetles on these trees. And do you know, friends, why I decided this way? Because somewhere up there a woodpecker is sitting and tapping his beak on the trunk of a tree. I can hear him, but I can't see him.

Жуки. Наверное, на этих деревьях уже много жуков. А знаете, друзья, почему я это так решил? Потому что где-от там наверху сидит дятел и стучит своим клювом по стволу дерева. Я его слышу, но не вижу.


I went out to the "cotton field" again. The walk has come to an end and it's time for me to go.

Я снова вышел на "хлопковое поле". Прогулка подошла к концу и мне пора ехать.
