Market places everywhere; but people are still hungry.

It's another beautiful day today 🥰🌼. Going to bed yesterday and waking up in peace and not in pieces, do you think it's by power? Or by luck? It's nothing but the grace of God over us.

Yesterday I encountered a @dreemsteem post about a challenge or contest going on; The Wednesday walk challenge. Hehehe I think it came with a hashtag #dreemportchallenge #wednesdaywalk #actifit #makemesmile in addition to the tag #dreemers. You might come to be surprised by the dreem and not dream. Yesterday night

I anticipated so much for Wednesday to come 😃, maybe because I already promised myself that I would make an entry for the challenge, I thought of how to get my actifit account back again and maybe get in touch with my tracker again. It wasn't an easy comeback for me. I tried to get the account but I couldn't recognize if it was my account or not. I had to put on my nose mask, get a broom and dustpan, then start thorough cleaning. Maybe there could be a slight chance of recognition.

I tried all my best after so much sweat on my body, I realized my account was gone for good. Should I cry or who would cry for me? I never wanted to cry, being a strong man of honor.

I went to bed as early as possible ☺️ since I couldn't activate my account anymore. But when I woke up from my bed 🛌 I was so hungry 😂 but I had to be myself because I had eaten last night. I remembered vividly that I took some cornflakes and milk, though a light food I was still okay for the night. Man would always be hungry no matter what.
We can never be separated from food.

I forgot about Wednesday walk already and started my daily activities as normal, prayers I had to get myself something to eat, hehehe hunger is never a friend of the tummy 🤣 I went over to our little farm where we planted some maize, plantain, and watermelon 🍉 , we already harvested the watermelon and left the maize on stands to get ripe enough for harvest, I went there with a bucket and harvested all stand. Then I took them home to roast and some were also cooked.

After eating to satisfaction, I went to bed to have some rest because it wasn't an easy task to harvest and clear at the same time. But deep down my mind, my thoughts are on how I would fail to fulfill my promise of tracking my steps for the day. But I had a dreem come true because I had to fulfill my dreem in life and not to be a dreemer alone with a dreemcatcher at the door of my room all day. Lol 🤣

While I was about traveling to Lagos with my bro @mcyusuf I told him how disappointed I was because I might not be able to participate in the challenge then he told me to create a new actifit app, but I never wished to, how about I check on my phone for any fitness app. Then I checked and found out I got one.. yaaaaaaah!!.

I opened it and found out it already tracked my steps for the day!. Whoops! I planned to take a screenshot of it while my post is ready.

***I wonder why we have so many marketplaces in our country and yet we are still hungry?. ***
Should I say it's as a result of the bad economic situation in the country or the bad governance as people claimed. Most of us would wake up and give some well-packed loads of curses and rain them on our government everyday 🤣🤣🤣 .

Right in front of our home, there are shops selling products and rendering services. There is also a supermarket adjacent to us and from our home, to the marketplace there are only shops and kiosks by the roadside. I couldn't take a picture of every shop am sorry for that 🤣🤣🤣. If I should do that then I might be tagged a madman. I know my country very well.

We were in a car and was just at the back sit take some captures from the side window, imagine after all the shops and kiosks by the roadside it all lead to a market place where a lot of traders sell their goods, one funniest thing you would love about my country is the fact there everyone would always want to be a marketer. Lol 😆 It got to an extent whereby marketers and retailers would still have to place their products by the roadside to sell their goods thereby leaving a little space for vehicles to pass which most times leads to traffic congestion.

Imagine how far it took to get these perfect captures from a moving car?

We got out of the market 🤣 at last. Leaving behind the noise and rotten smell from mixtures of raw, cooked, uncooked, fried, roasted, live, and preserved goods for sale. Just like we were given the key to heaven 😂 to take some cool breeze again.

We left the motor garage and got to the expressway, and the first vehicle I could capture was

Imagine a country where small cars would always have to compete with lorries, trailers, and luxurious buses on the same lane. That's just a typical example to my country of no orderliness and control, the same way it happens among the vehicles is the same way you would find it happening among the citizens of the country, no one is ready to step down for another we all compete. I hope one day our country gets better.

We left for Lagos state Nigeria, there is a new construction going on by the expressway. I had to take a capture of it,

Imagine the construction on an interstate expressway been constructed for years! Maybe I should say they are await the computer generation children to come take over from where they stopped.

I hope this overhead bridge construction won’t take years just like that of the expressway… 😂😂

On getting to Lagos state the first thing we encountered was another marketplace. Lol 😆

Lagos is always a busy place, some call it Small London but we are very much far compared to be named London! 😂

This is just a little aspect of the problem we are facing as a loyal citizen of my country Nigeria where you would always have to dream big and start small instead of dreeming big and starting big 😎👍
