Hiking Up Jewel Pass in a Winter Wonderland by @crypticat
That was in May? Who could guess that in those 14km, you can experience almost all 4 seasons in a day... Snow, mud, clear skies... 😃
Love the lake view, with snowy mountains in the background! Is there fish in the lake?
Soup season! by @kommienezuspadt
I remember when I was a kid, I couldn't stand soup... I didn't love it, I was always taking ingredients out of the plate, creating a "vegetable exhibition" around it... 🤣
Today, I can't imagine winter lunch, without the soup on the table!! Nothing can beat the feeling coming home, and warming up with a hot soup!!
[ℕ𝕖𝕧𝕖𝕣] 𝕊𝕖𝕝𝕝 𝕐𝕠𝕦𝕣 𝔹𝕚𝕥𝕔𝕠𝕚𝕟 - I Hate Crypto Christmas by @whywhy
5Xs are really nice. I am starting to temper my expectations for next year although I do think Bitcoin seems undervalued according to most models. How will we survive the 2026 bear is now preoccupying my mind and how I will play it. 😅
Is Seeking Connection a Glorified Form of Ass-Licking? by @josediccus
Great food for thought. I would say on the flip side that it should also be motivating for us to be able to do something useful and add value to society or our connections. A valuable connection is a good plumber, electrician, and mechanic, and not a lazy bum who doesn't know anything.
Early Holiday Repair Jobs! by @zakludick
Great DIY jobs. You should be able to get that tap tight so it doesn't move under the sink. I think there is a little trick to it. I remember when I had to do mine.

Walking is a simple yet powerful way to boost your health, and it turns out that speed matters! While hitting that magic number of 10,000 steps a day is essential, walking faster can elevate your benefits even more.
Imagine striding confidently through your day—not only will you reach your destination quicker, but you’ll also be doing wonders for your well-being. Fast walking can significantly cut your risk of developing diabetes, high blood pressure, and cholesterol issues. A fascinating study published in the Scientific Reports highlights these perks.
Conducted in Japan with over 24,000 participants who were already facing obesity, the findings were eye-opening. It showed that those who walked briskly had a whopping 30% lower chance of developing diabetes, a 6% reduction in the likelihood of hypertension, and a noteworthy decrease in the risk of lipid disorders.
So, the next time you step out, remember: pick up the pace for a healthier you! Every step counts, but walking fast can propel you toward a happier, healthier life!
