It's a cold day today, but I'm feeling pretty good in my wool blanket and new office chair. Getting things done and perhaps my productivity has increased, it's difficult to tell yet. What has increased is my back and bottom are not hurting so much and that is a great relief!
Sprouting Mung Beans
One of the projects I'm trying is sprouting mung beans. I soaked them overnight and drained it, now it's been three days and the sprouts are appearing!
After soaking, day one.
The third day:
The beans have gotten larger and little tails are forming.
Looking straight into the container, through the cheesecloth, the tails are noticable.
I have to continue to "wash" the sprouts at least three times a day to keep them growing and not get moldy.
It's a fun project, I'm curious what the sprouts will be like when they're mature.

Grats on your first sprouting! Once you get going, there's no stopping - alfalfa sprouts, chickpeas, soy and other beans. All with a slightly different flavour and size!
It's a healthy addiction! I hope to be putting various sprouts in and on just about everything: tacos, pizza, omlets, hash, fried rice, etc.
I am curious to know how it will look.
