THE DOVE'S FEATHER OF LOVE
The white feather falls from the sky,
And I close my eyes and sigh,
With peace filtering through my heart,
A new chance to start afresh
relief melting though my mind,
And stress- thankfully left way behind,
And as the white feather flies through the warm air,
I open my eyes and sit back and stare,
At the beauty of the scenery,
All of the rainforest
in it's greenery,
And as the white feather floats down,
gently and slowly to the ground,
I smile in hope of the future
and what it holds,
And as the white feather lands on a leaf,
With an urge so strong I shout out in glee (#IaAmAliveChallenge!)
And break into song,
like a dove could do no wrong,
And as I lay the feather in my palm,
I know that I will treasure this forever,
And let the Doves of peace come to no harm,
And I pray to the heavens above,
And thank them for giving us this white dove,
who delivers the earth all messages of love,
So please open your eyes,
and see the dove,
Open your ears,
listen to it's messages
Because the world needs to hear
That you feel it's love.

That was actually one of the many I wrote whilst living in the Daintree- no power, so no distractions- just me the bandicoots, Malamees (eating me out of house and home...) and the candelight (oh and not to mention- the Mozzies Lol....)
