It is important to stand your ground against directors that try and cut costs.
It always seem daft to me, you would think they would want everyone to have the best tools so they can do the best job.
The right tool for the right job just saves hassle and money in the long run anyway.

Very true, one of the reasons i have my own business is because i don't really do well with bad management.
In the firewood industry cutting cost or corners could cause an accident or even a death.
Good, well maintained tools and equipment are an absolute must to me.
