Amazing Nature Contest: FREE TOPIC - #2/3/23

Early plum blossom....
That first bloom...a sign that spring is slowly sending winter to the North Pole....

This winter was extremely mild, with only a little snow.... So the flowers were very early....
On the other hand, maybe those little flowers will speed up the arrival of good weather and sunshine.....

It got a little cold today, and it was really cold for several acres, so some flowers have already died, and luckily the whole tree didn't bloom....

This is where the struggle between winter and spring is reflected....spring is slowly getting stronger....the grass is turning green, violets are blooming..... Trees are budding and soon we will have blossoming fruit trees all around us....

Then spring took over the throne... And then at some point winter returns one morning and drops the temperature below zero..
And then the flowers die....that means that there won't be many fruit trees either....and so winter makes its last attack before finally withdrawing, and letting spring reign....

The great Orthodox holiday marks when the Virgin first brought Christ into the temple...that is February 15.

In our country, there is also a belief that then winter and summer meet, and that holiday is called Sretenje..

Then it is monitored whether the bear will see its shadow. If it's a sunny day, when the bear comes out of the cave, he gets scared of his shadow and goes back to sleep... And then winter won and it will be cold for another six weeks...
If it's cloudy and the bear isn't scared, warmer weather is coming...

This year it was a cloudy day.. And we hope for warmer weather soon..

When I see those little flowers, I get energy, as if I was sleeping until now, then those little flowers wake me up.... All nature wakes up....
