DTIYS CHALLENGE: Fray

It’s time for another Draw This In Your Style (DTIYS) challenge This is your chance to let your creativity run wild and make an original piece entirely your own. Take the artwork I’ve shared as your starting point and put your unique spin on it—use your favorite tools, your personal style, and whatever colors speak to you.

I named this piece Fray because it reflects the raw, tattered edges of the figure’s clothing and the imperfect journey it represents. I used sketchy, unrefined lines, inspired by abstract expressionism, to capture the energy and vulnerability of movement. The yellow background adds contrast and a sense of hope against the chaos. This drawing is my way of exploring the beauty of imperfection and the resilience it takes to keep moving forward.
