How I fell Out of Science

Science has never been my thing from the onset, but I found myself in it anyways.

Let me take you a little back in time. Many years ago when I was still preparing to get into high school, here in Nigeria, we're tested with an amplitude test that covers all subjects and a decision will be made based on the subject performance. This means if I do well in engineering related subjects ( Maths, Physics...) , I'll be directed to the Science class. Same with other subjects like biology, Chemistry. But if I do well in subjects like Government and the likes, I can be an art student or a commercial student.

In most cases, your passion isn't appreciated until after the board of Teachers already made a decision based on your score.

.

I was a student who did well in all, so I had the chance to either be in science,. commercial or Art.

Judging based on my likes and dislikes, I've always had passion for writing.

I had loved to replicate the Cinderella story a lot of times. While I was still so young, I was a fan of the popular Christmas Movie series titled "Home Alone"... I could watch it 10 times on an empty stomach.

While I see these movies, a desire to write movies consumed me. My best pick would have being the art department where I can then sub-niche into becoming an author. I'll learn more about English language than Chemicals or Pendulum bulb.

To cut the story short, I had a best friend, a close friend of mine, I didn't want to break ties with him, we gist together and we live not so far from each other.

He decided he was going to the science department, and I concluded that I was going to do the same thing.

That was how I found myself in the science department.

.
.

Time passes after high school, i moved on to the tertiary institution to study Agricultural, which is also never my choice but I did it because I didn't have much of a choice.

.
.

I fell out of the science department when the weight of excessive calculations in Physics and the enormous definitions in Chemistry weighed me down.

Being an Agricultural student also is a burden, I don't want to be a farmer, my passion doesn't align with it, the tilling of ground and planting isn't my thing.

.
.

Day after day, I drew back to my initial passion to write , teach and educate and I wish to do more. Recently, I launched my Life academy where I teach people on how to be strategic with life and Business. It was a big move for me because I love what I do. It has always been my dream to help people grow. Here's a flyer of my academy.

With time, I have also written about 9+ ebooks, which one of my favorite is "Trash down your to-do list" . The ebook speaks about time and goals management.

I really don't think I have made a mistake with my decision of getting into the science department, because I have made friends, I have gotten to learn more about life, I have even had the chances to develop my writing skills and set up my coaching center.

I THINK GOD HAS A WAY TO HELP US ALIGN THINGS TOGETHER. I'M HAPPY WITH THE WAY THINGS TURNED OUT.

But either way, I'm a writer, and I aim to best at it. Thank you for reading
