Building Yuletide Memories

in Hive Learnersyesterday

December is evidence that the Yuletide season is upon us, and I'm super excited about everything that surrounds the season, from Christmas Day to Boxing Day to New Year's Eve and New Year's Day itself. They all make up one of the most amazing and exciting periods of the year that almost everyone looks forward to regardless of their religion, race, or nationality. Given the fact that another one is around the corner, I'm thrilled about it and trying to put different things in place so it'll not only stand out but also serve as a very important memory to look back on in the near future.

Given the fact that this is the first Yuletide season I'll be celebrating as a married man, I'm trying to make it extraordinary, not that I need to break the bank to make that happen, but just that I need it to be wonderful and eventful in my little way to the point where my wife and I will have this Yuletide season live rent-free in our memory for years to come. To start with, it's worth knowing that I'm actually unsure of how to go about this Yuletide season, because I'm actually contemplating whether I should travel to go and celebrate it with loved ones or I should stay back and celebrate it alone with my new family.

The truth is that I actually really want to celebrate this season with my immediate family alone. Since it's our first Yuletide season, I feel like it's an opportunity to make great and lasting memories together and also enjoy each other's company. But above that, I know the Yuletide season is a season of love, a season of sharing, and a season of bonding, and I want to enjoy that to the fullest, so that's why I'm contemplating if I should celebrate it with other family members aside from my wife. Well, let's see how that goes with time. But one thing is certain, and it's the fact that I won't be celebrating the season alone.

Since I'm presently contemplating how to celebrate the season, I've got a few ideas on how it'll go. First is to visit some exciting places, be it a resort, beach, amusement park, or the like, with my wife so we can have an exciting and memorable time together. I believe visiting such places, beholding new things together, eating, and having fun would serve as a wonderful way to create lasting memories together. That outing is hoping to happen a few days before Christmas, while I can either visit a relative's place to celebrate Christmas with my wife or thank them for the love and everything to make our wedding ceremony a success.

Besides Christmas, which we might celebrate with families, I really want to celebrate the New Year season in my house and with my wife, so for that reason, this coming New Year's Eve that'll usher us into the year 2026, I want it to meet me here at my residence so that I can celebrate the first New Year after getting married with my wife alone. That's the best way forward for me, because who knows, a child might be in the picture when 2027 comes, so it's best we enjoy the moment we have to ourselves before that happens. So that's about my plans for the Yuletide season.

Daddy Vick, you didn’t tell me you got married.🫢

Anyways, I’d be coming over to celebrate Christmas with our wife.😄
