I grew up in the era of "It's 10 pm do you know were you children are". Were when the street light came on you where heading home for the night.
Meaning you hung out with friends/people all day and family time was just as important as night.

That message was very popular here in Venezuela in the 70's, I was very young but I realized that there was a TV station that played it precisely at that time. Those were other times without apps or cell phones. Enjoying at home helped you to learn values that your parents showed you and taught you.

It was the same message in the early 80's as well.
