MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: OPERATION PENETRATE GIRLS BLOCK.

I really can’t stop laughing remembering that I got into trouble trying to gain illegal access into girls school block just to get our share of the delicious home economics food.

HOW IT STARTED:
The name of my school was LOGOS INTERNATIONAL SECONDARY SCHOOL located in IMO state Nigeria. It was called logiss for short, and this school was a watchman Pentecostal Christian school which was comprised of boys and girls. I would say the school is a two in one school as girl’s had their own class, hostel and refectory in the same compound which was demarcated with a fence and gate. Likewise the boy’s, we had our own refectory, classroom and hostel. We only got to see our girls when we either resume the first day, judging with the fact that everyone would be coming from their various homes through the main gate or during school vacation when everyone would come out and head to the main gate to wait for our parents. I also had a twin sister in that school too, and we only spoke to each other on the day of resumption or whenever school was about to go on vacation.

The boy’s always linked up with girls in the same class with them, especially during vacations because we didn’t get to hangout or relate well at school. This was because we were majorly demarcated from the girl’s school, even though we had friends or relatives there. There wasn’t freedom to go into the girl’s school because the church doctrine of the school is against closeness with the opposite sex.

Here comes my story, in the boy’s school we only offered Agric in place of Home economics(Food and Nutrition) because boy’s weren’t interested in the cooking stuff. So it was only the girls that had choices to make between agriculture and home economics (Food and Nutrition). This gave girls the opportunity to offer the course in their waec, normally food and nutrition exam day is really a day of merry because at the end of the exam there would be so much to eat and drink. This only happened in the girl’s school, which many of my classmates had girlfriends and sisters whom offered food and nutrition. My twin sister wasn’t an exception as she also offered food and nutrition.

THE PROBLEM:
This is where our problem started, a lot of girls during the vacation already promised their boyfriends and brothers food after the food and nut examination. My sister also promised me food too, and the plan was for them to package it inside a strong bag tagging our nicknames to the respective owners of each food package. I answered tbliz in high school, and I was the only one known as that in school. Even if the school gets the package they cannot use that nickname to trace me because it didn’t bear my real name. The major problem was how to gain access into the girl’s school to carry those food packages back to the boys school. This was like a mission impossible but trust my classmates we had to device an illegal plan.

THE PLAN
We all put heads together, and deviced a plan on how to penetrate girl’s school that very evening. We planned to enter at night when nobody would notice anything. The first plan was to make sure the light prefect put off the light at night through the main switch. We needed a very dark environment to carry out our plan, then one of my classmate called baba nla was to climb a 4 story uncompleted building near the fence of the girls block to properly survey the environment. He used a hand touch to survey and get the direct position where our girls dropped the bag of food. He was also to alert us whenever he saw the school security. On the other hand my job was to climb the fence and pull the food over the fence to my classmate Ebus.

That night everything was put in place, and we made progress. There was total shut down of light in the whole school which was very unusual. Then I climbed the female fence and spotted the food bags using the red pointer from Baba nla. Things were going smoothly but something happened. Unfortunately for us we never knew that the chapel prefect knew of our plan that night, and he decided to alert the security as our mission was going on. Before you could say Jack Robinson our school security hilux was already driving straight into the girl’s school. Immediately baba nla saw this he shouted sareeeeee! from the 4 story building (Sare in our school means run there is trouble) I heard this and immediately climed the fence back into the boy’s school and took to my heels leaving the food in the girls block.

We all managed to escape, as the security was on the move to capture any student seen malingering around the school premises that night. They went into the girl’s school and found the bags of food close to the fence which they seized. Luckily for us it was just our nicknames that were attached to each food packages. The next morning an emergency assembly was fixed, then our patron started calling those nicknames found in those respective food packs, but nobody came out to claim the names being called😅. Finally he told the chapel prefect to fish out the names of people he believed to answer such nicknames in our set.

I wasn’t suprised when the chapel prefect added my name as one of the people he believed were among the people those girls sent food packages to because I was popular in the girl’s school. Finally I met the disciplinary committee where they asked me if I was part of the boy’s that penetrated the girl’s school. Seeing that nobody was caught and there was no valid proof to hold me, I blatantly denied the allegations. Then they said my name was in the food pack as one of those people that had a share in the delivery. I told them that I wasn’t even aware that such happened, also telling them that the name they saw wasn’t by any chance my name. I denied all allegations with an innocent face, spicing it up with crocodile tears.

Then our patron said that he knew me as a studious student and he never believed it when he saw my name as one of the suspects. This even made it clear to them that I was innocent, and immediately they canceled my name in that list. Every other person also denied those allegations and told them that anybody’s name could be written in the package without their consent. The school didn’t have a valid proof to hold anybody but rather they now built more security seat outs close to the fence of the girl’s school. This was how my friends and I escaped school expulsion.
