Raking risks is part of life and necessary as well. Sometimes it's good, other times it's not exactly the best idea, but all is good when it ends well. I'm glad you ended up on the safe side though.
Profit is for those who take the risk, but not to confuse hazarding with taking risks, right? 😀

This happens most of the time. You are entering the University with the hope of studying your dream course only for the education system to give you a course totally different from your supposed field of study. It's always annoying 🙁.

Heheheh! Once I realized I am not in a place where I belong, I don't hesitate to reverse. Taking risk with your academics was a very close one. If you had not changed your mind, you would have gotten your worst fear the next semester.

Wow that's a whole lot of risk you took, I'm glad you're doing well in the new department. It was really bold of you to have made that choice.
Similar thing happened to a friend of mine and he changed course when he was almost done with school, although he made the decision late to change department but he graduated as one of the best student in the new department because he was given an award for being the best.
His younger brother even graduated before him but he was never discouraged at any point.

I should be thanking you for writing a piece piece in HL. Originally is rare to find in bear market, sometimes on hive.
Also, seeing all the stats posts and low quality posts become frustrating to read to select few deserving ones. It was my pleasure boosting an author who wrote something original instead of coping different ideas from Google search and spinning them.
