Fashion does not mean the same thing for everyone. For you, ripped jeans is out of the question, while for others it's the latest fashion. Some can't imagine wearing checkered shirt with a tie, others think it's cool. That is not necessarily a bad thing as this makes the world colorful.

Like you, I learnt in a seminar about how a princess dresses. She doesn't do too much, yet wherever she steps in, her attire and carriage commands respect. I've never forgotten that lesson.

Sincerely, if there is money, one would put on the good clothes you so desire but since there isn´t for now which we believe we will someday, we should stick to the ones we have and make them suit our taste. There is nothing money can not do when it comes to putting on good and classic clothes.

For me, one's mode of dressing is a reflection of one's perspective of oneself. The attention and level of keeness shows how much self-awareness one has for themselves. And although the level of attention may vary from person to person, a good amount of attention is necessary in presenting oneself well.
And just like the popular saying, you may want to dress well if you'd like to be treated well. It extends to how one smells too. I love when people smell nice; I think it adds to fashion too.
