A contagious excitement for the season!

As the month of December begins, I started to plan some trip during the months. I remember, doing so every years, during my working days. The months begins with people finding themselves into holidays mood. While holidays are generally associated with a positive mood, for many people, the holiday season can also bring mixed emotions, including feelings of stress, anxiety, loneliness. For most people, holidays are a time of happiness and celebration with loved ones. A "holiday mood" can well be described as a feeling of joyful anticipation, warmth, generosity, and a sense of togetherness often accompanied by festive decorations, delicious food, and quality time spent with loved ones, creating a lighthearted and cheerful atmosphere. I am still wondering how to make the holidays mood talk this year.

There are many people like me, who gets fascinated with the months of December. People often plan holidays in December primarily because of the major festive season centered around #Christmas, which falls on December 25th. Allowing for time to spend with family, attend celebrations, and enjoy a break from work during a generally festive atmosphere across many cultures. There are various reasons associated which makes December a popular months for Holidays:

• The most significant reason, as Christmas is a major holiday for many people globally, prompting family gatherings, gift-giving, and festive activities.

• Depending on location, December can offer beautiful winter scenery with snow, making it attractive for winter sports enthusiasts or those seeking a cold-weather getaway.

• Many schools have extended winter breaks in December, allowing families with children to travel together.*

• The upcoming New Year's Eve at the end of December also provides an opportunity for special celebrations and travel.

• The overall festive atmosphere with decorations, music, and social events can be appealing to many people.

While these are the factors to plan for holidays but a person needs to be cautious with their travel plans. These are the rush hour time at many tourist places making it difficult for the commuters. Also, being a holidays seaon most of the places are over expensive. So all my previous experiences did not allow to make any further plans.

What I am upto ??

The big question that comes to everyone mind, is if I am not planning my holidays time. The answer is not so. I have many things to consider. These are the harvesting time in my village and I am occupied with many things. Recently, I have assembled all the stacks of paddy and now threshing needs to be done. As these are the season, the labour's the machine etc are available during this time. Once the season gets over it will be hard to bring them to work especially for a single purpose.

It gets more importsnt to take care of all the crops. Additionally, it is the time, when we have the coal furnace available in the market for preparing flattened rice and also make rice using local mills. Before it's get late, it is importsnt to get free from all the activities.

Even though I missed my good old days, when we used to hit the roads with friends for long road trip or trips to hills. People often like to get away from the rush and looks towards a peaceful time. Now time have changed, the weather gets better so does the lifestyle. It is importsnt to adapt to new life, rather than planning unceccessrally fot holidays. Priority have changed so does the outlook towards life. No doubt I will get my share of desired rest for a healthy life. Wishing you all a lovely holidays times to come.
