RE: AFRICAN ELEPHANT: Nigeria's Hidden Treasure

in Hive Learners3 months ago

Wow, I could not believe my eyes when I saw that elephants is also in this very Ogun state that I live in. It is a pity to see the death of that elephant.

These elephants, are they available for seeing to the public. And are there still any elephant available in that reserve in Ogun state.

Sort:

It so sad to see the population of the elephant in Omo forest reserve (Ogun state) reduced. They are still available at the site.

The funny aspect of it is seeing Nigeria being one of the top African countries selling ivory products in the black market

wow... that means that Nigeria is killing more elephants for the ivory products.

Sure, which is not allow the people to know of the existence of this creature in it is mother land Nigeria. Click on the link in the write up and see the video of how many bags of ivory was seized and the video of the elephant in some part of this country

Hmm. I have watched the video, and I have seen that Nigeria is taking big steps on the preservation of Elephants. That is a good one there. We need to protect wildlife!

yes, conservation measures are put in place, and the awareness of it must be also done so we all can know about it and work hand in hand to preserve this national treasure
