HAPPY 25TH BIRTHDAY TO ME || A Year of Growth, Gratitude, and New Beginnings

I don't know where to start on this post, but I am writing it to wish myself a Happy New Year, new age, more grace, and greater responsibility. Last year was all filled with God's favour and mercy. I had come through a lot, and now I am a year knowledgeable, wiser, and older.

Last year, I was able to accomplish some of my goals and challenges. One of them is completing my undergraduate degree in mechatronics engineering. It has always been a childhood dream to study that course and finally it has been fulfilled.

And by tomorrow, I will be having another celebration. I will be celebrating my convocation as well. My families and friends will be coming around to have this celebration with me and it will definitely be a merry moment.

Talking about accomplishments from the past year, one of them that I would not forget is hosting a program for Hive on my campus to create more awareness.

I have been able to bring a lot of people from my university into Hive and many of them are now frequent members of the chain. Regardless of the fact that I have graduated from the school, I will do my best to ensure that Hive still has a significant presence in the university.

Some personal accomplishments are being able to solve some personal challenges, mostly regarding stable electricity. Last year, I was able to run a power plant that could give me an extra power source of 6-7 hours without sunlight for my present setup.

This is one thing I am very grateful for, as it has contributed a lot to my personal growth, to my learning, and also a major influence to building my career in AI.

Thank You Message to those who Significantly Helped me this Past Year

My gratitude goes to my parents and family; they have had the greatest impact and contribution to my life. My life today is shaped by my family and I am grateful for being part of them.

I am very grateful to have some people in my life. First is my childhood best friend Talkdanny; we have been friends for 12 years now and yet we still talk almost every day regardless of the fact that we are countries apart from each other. He had done so much for me this past year and even before.

As they say, a friendship that lasts more than 7 years will last forever. Thank you, Daniel, for being there always.

Also to Olujay, he has been a genuine brother. He has been there always when I needed someone to talk to or needed some advice over confusing matters. He has been a genuine twin brother.

Also to my wonderful circle of friends. What can I do without these guys? They are genuinely brothers; I met them while in the university, and we have come together to be accountable to each other. To look after each other's growth and push forward. I am lucky to be part of you guys!

And to my friends, Ebass, Samuel, and Cornelius. Somehow we became close; we made music together. We shared a lot of happy moments, advice, love, and brotherhood. I love every one of you.

To my dear friend, Gift @evelyn-g. Thank you for being there for me during my lowest. Knowing you within a year feels like we have been friends like forever. Thank you for your support, prayers, and love.

And to my gee @ghostmac, my very first friend in the university. We may not be as best friends as we earlier were when we met in school but you are one of the people that have made a significant impact in my life in such a short while. I am forever grateful for always being there and always saving me financially.

And to @kbanti, @obaro, @trojan1, @festustory, @prayzz @bruno-kema, @eddiespino, @mahirabdullah and to many of those I haven't listed here. Thank you for being a significant part of my previous year.

In this new year, I will focus deeply on my career and developing skills that will make me a person of greater value, enabling me to contribute more meaningfully to the lives of others. My personal motto is "We rise by lifting others," which I also translate to "I live to make an impact in the lives of others." This is how I want to live this new year and more years to come. May God help me!
