Yesterday, I attended a program that discussed the topic of getting straight A's in examination results. Although it was a church program, the speakers were realistic about what was needed to achieve this goal. As much as being spiritually ready and praying for this to happen is important, it ultimately comes down to our preparedness and effort.
The primary difference between students who get straight A's and those who don't is the effort they put into studying. It is commonly believed that these students spend most of their time studying and can read for up to 12 hours a day, however, this alone does not guarantee success.
The key to success is having the right mindset and believing in your willpower. Students who achieve straight A's are confident that no matter how difficult a course may be, they will overcome it. They don't let their thoughts and efforts be consumed by the difficulty of the course, but instead, they fuel their minds and willpower by telling themselves that no matter the difficulty, they will conquer it.
Having this mindset is the first step to being successful in any aspect of life. If something is naturally difficult and we keep telling ourselves it is difficult, it will likely remain difficult because that is what we are feeding our minds. Therefore, it becomes difficult to understand the subject because we have programmed our minds that understanding the course is hard. With this mindset, no matter how much effort we put into studying, even if we read 24 hours a day, it will not be enough to fully prepare for any examination.
It is important to trust and know your pattern of studying. Everyone has different ways of preparing for exams, some people prefer to write a summary of each course in a separate notebook, some prefer to study directly from the textbook, and some prefer to watch YouTube videos to easily understand the course. The most important thing is knowing what works for you and trusting it. If you don't know what works for you, it will be difficult to prepare for exams, and the worst thing that can happen is copying the methods of others, which may not work for you and lead to poor results.
Overall, confidence and high self-esteem play a significant role in passing examinations. If one is confident in themselves, they will not be consumed by the fear of the difficulty of a course. They will believe in their methods and the effort required to achieve straight A's. As they say, proper planning prevents poor performance, it is necessary to make a plan on how to achieve this goal. One should visualize themselves achieving the goal and let that fuel their energy throughout the planning process.
Lastly, it is important to dedicate all efforts to prayer so that God can guide us through what we need, even if we don't know it. These were some of the key points discussed in the program yesterday, and I believe in everything that was said, my spirit resonated with the truth in every point made.

Studying is definitely not enough, I have read but I am not sure about this exam. Self-doubt is a setback for many students and have you have explained, believing in oneself is very important not just in studies but in other areas of our life,
Having the proper mind, studying, and committing things in God's hands will definitely take us a long way.
Self-doubt is the word that hit the nail. It is a setback for most students. Bro you got the whole point exactly!
That is accurate, but in reality, having confidence and high self-esteem only helps you if you would review or obtain the process of how to get a straight A+. Honestly, I'm a slow-paced learner. I remember my mother telling me that I only learned to speak when I was three years old, and some people thought me stupid crazy things. I'm not a brainy student, but I still managed to get A to A+ grades because I know my routine. Sometimes, I envied others who are naturally intelligent, while it takes me a lot of time to master a specific thing.
Yeah, you're right. I'm mixing different methods of studying, like highlighting, writing keywords, flashcards, etc. It works for me.
Similarly to you, it took me till I was 3 years old before I could learn how to walk.
I like your methods of studying by the way. What other methods do you apply?
Oh! Other than that, I also attend face-to-face classes and discussion is one of the common but not flexible studying
I have heard the verdict that prayers don't work. The fact is that prayers are sure to work if we are ready to put our efforts. The purpose of prayers is not to fetch a glass of water to our mouth. Instead, the purpose of prayer is to show us the oath towards glass and give us the confidence that we can reach it. The efforts are mandatory. Prayers facilitate the selection of the best option. It envisioned us, but again the first step has to be taken by us by putting the efforts.
Getting A's is no different than achieving any other kind of success. The prayers are important to give us surety that there is a supreme being standing beside us to guide, and so the efforts we are going to put will not be wasted
Wow, you gave me a clearer insight into prayers. Our success boils down to our effort but prayers bring a feeling of assurance that we are on the right path.
Prayer makes it easier for us to walk on difficult paths firmly, as we are sure that we have asked for the help of someone who loves His creation passionately. So we won't be left in darkness
These are solid points you have here, man. It all boils down to the mindset one carries. If one thinks of a course or subject as really difficult, it's not an issue just yet, but if one thinks of the matter as difficult and then doesn't see themselves overcoming it, then they probably would have a tough time overcoming it.
Everyone is wired differently, and so we have different study patterns. It's best to figure out what works for oneself early enough, if one hasn't already, and stick with it. And when it comes to preparation for exams, "the earlier, the better."
Good luck with your exams, brother.
Brother! Where are you seeing yourself in two months? Would you still be in Abk?
Bro good luck with your final exams too...
You see, whatever we want to achieve in this life , the process begins from our mind. Positive thinking first, I can do this and you will see yourself doing it without fear. Finding the best method that will work us remains the best irrespective of how others are doing it. That was a power packed day you had!
Thanks for sharing with us 👌
Yes oh! It was powerful and I felt every moment!
This is very concise and educative. Last semester I was so consumed by fear and I studied so hard yet I would go into the examination hall still afraid that I won't do well in the exams. I used my Just concluded holiday to work on that.
Even though we are just resuming, I have started studying because I have realized that waiting for test or examination to come before studying is another way to prepare to fail. I must always be ready. Thank you so much for sharing.
There is a saying that if you don't plan to succeed then you plan to fail. Studying early enough would make you prepare well and would definitely increase your confidence instead of rushing up everything when it is late.
Exactly.
Heaven help does who help themselves. This is actually true.
You have to have this faith that you going succeed. Youre increase surely increasing the probability of you succeeding.
Most times we are just expecting a miracle, like we don’t want to read, don’t want to stress.. just pass.
Nice writing. Thanks for sharing
Miracle only comes to those who doesn't just believe but are prepared to receive it. With the fact that one has not adequately prepared, it would be difficult to actually believe one could happen.
Whatever we feed our minds with, it will give it back to us multiple folds. Positive talks to oneself go a long way.
You get the point.. positive thoughts also goes a long way to how we take actions...
Yes, it does... Thanks for sharing part of your day and the learnings that took place.
