When I was a kid, I hated one word..... "Sorry" .
Not because I didn’t know better but because it made me feel weak, especially when I'm asked to apologise to somebody that is of my age.
Even when I was wrong at home , I’d rather take the heat and be punished than say that one word.... Sorry.
That's how deep it was.
But I thank God for my elder brother.
He taught me a simple truth:
“Sometimes, saying sorry is not weakness it’s wisdom.”
That changed everything.
Now? I say sorry easily, it's who I am, “sorry” is not just a word I say. It’s a lifestyle, It has helped me grow.
And guess what? It has saved me from unnecessary drama's, arguments and conflicts, both in life and relationships.
Leran to say sorry, even when you're not at fault.
Don’t wait until you’re older to learn this.
Teach your children or maybe your younger ones, to say sorry.
It’s one of the five magic words that can take you far.
