(Pictures I took from a business networking event on Monday 26/6. The cars were one of the sponsors that they left outside for guests to take photos with)
No it's not a car that we need. Those super cars / sport cars are something that people want but what we need is what is used to get the car. Yes I'm talking about mula or if you don't know what this means it's slang for money. Money is something we need to pay for our basic needs such as shelter, food, clothes etc. Today I want to share a story from my university days where I realized a friend I made was quite rich at that time.
This story dates back around 2018 when I was 22 years old. I had a friend and I don't want to say his name so let's just call him J. J was a fairly handsome guy no homo and he dressed well and definitely took care of his appearance. I don't recall how we ended up being friends but I do remember doing some group projects together.
So when did I realize he was rich? It was when he asked me to go clubbing and told me stories of how he spent RM3000 over one weekend from clubbing. This is equivalent to almost $650 USD and this is quite a lot of money to spend in Malaysia. He spent more than what I spent on transportation and food for few months in one weekend. J went clubbing every weekend and it's funny because there were times when he talked about quitting and #goodboy but he never quit.
Anyways I didn't really think of him different when I realized he was rich. I want to say I treat people the same whether they are rich or poor. To me this isn't very important when making friends, I'm fine with being friends with anybody as long as they are kind to me and have a good personality. As I got to know him more, I found out that his family had a big business in Hong Kong and he was basically given a fair amount of money for allowance monthly.
Actually I met him a few months ago for his birthday. If you look back at my old posts, you will see a FEIFAN hotpot post and that's the last time I met him. I actually treated him for that hotpot dinner. Anyways we are still friends and we do contact each other now and then. We used to game together but now it's just mostly talking about anime and going out to eat once in a blue moon.
That concludes my story. I want to leave it here with this last photo of my lucky 2 dollar bill that I brought back from when I was still in California. I always carry this in my wallet for good luck! Hopefully, it will lead me to making more and more money so I can live happily and enjoy life! Work smart, work hard and play hard!
Thank you so much for reading until the end. I hope you enjoyed my story. Until next time~
I only went to a club one time. I didn't drink anything and it was too crowded. The best part of that night was just walking around city.
:P same i went to club one time and i have to say. i got asian flush after one cup lol then went home xD
You are such a nice guy! level of money for sure shouldn't be a way to measure friendships right? In addition, even if I was rich I wouldn't buy a super car lol! I only want a car as a tool, maybe I would spend in a car that has a robot driving xD
Cheers
LOL i wouldnt either but hey if I really had the money why not! Thanks for calling me a nice guy I also think I am :P . yes it shouldn't be a way to measure friendships but that depends on the person :D not for me. well maybe there will be self driving cars 100% in the future that would be interesting :D and they could go super fast and not crash
There are some people in the world who are only together for relationship and they don't show their money power to anyone.Friendship, love and relationship are very important for them, money is not important But such people are very few in this world۔
Your friend was very nice and you wrote very well🥰😍
Well there's always people like that that always look for self benefits. yes my friend is nice and chill 😂 but if you get on his bad side or betray him well that's another story. Thank you so much for saying I write well! Thank you for reading and I hope you have a great day!
