An interesting article. I do agree that parents need to take far greater interest in their children's lives especially as they get older and start hanging out with friends away from the home more frequently. We need to be keeping them close, invite their friends in to meet them, spend time with them, get to know them, and make them feel welcome in our homes so that we can suss them out and have the necessary conversations with our children if some friendships are not appropriate. I came to your post via Dreemport. If I might add a personal comment. You go to a lot of effort to produce thoughtful articles and you share your views and opinions freely which is great! I think you could elevate the standard within your articles through the simple use of Grammarly (both free to use) 🤗. I use it myself and it picks up mistakes that I hadn't even realised I was making and I improve my own writing as a result. !PIZZA !ALIVE

So if I recall I think I just downloaded the free Grammarly programme and it automatically pops up and highlights bits in your text that are either spelling errors...although be careful as you either need to write American English or British English...don't switch between the two lol... and Grammarly is American English. So I write using British English and ignore the Americanised spelling corrections, but I use Grammarly to pick up general spelling errors from quick typing and to pick up improvements in actual grammar. Then you could always use Microsoft word for spellcheck and choose whichever variant of English you want to use.
