Achievement 1: Introduce yourself

in Hive Learners2 years ago

Hello, Ecency People! I hope you all are well!
Introduce Myself:
I'm from Pakistan's Faisalabad and go by the name Saim Jan. I matriculated from Ali Foundation Boys High School. At a government college for boys, I received my intermediate degree. I am currently a 20-year-old student finishing my bachelor's degree at the Virtual University of Pakistan with a first-semester associate's in commerce.

Family:
I'm the youngest of my two brothers, and we live together. My brother Ayaan Khan did his matriculation in 2018. He began driving and continues to drive a truck in Pakistan due to family and financial difficulties. My father operates a vehicle in Faisalabad City and is also a driver. My mother is an excellent housekeeper and a stay-at-home mother.
Friends:
My closest friend is Hamza Shah. We both finished our matriculation at the same institution. We have been close since our days in school. Currently, he is working in a factory. The Ecency platform is utilized by my friends. They used Ecency for a very long time. They introduced me to Ecency, and since I have experience writing blogs and am interested in the subject, I decided to join the platform because I felt it would be the best place for me to share my knowledge. Once more, welcome to the Ecency.
Here is a photo with my friend Hamza

About me:
I love traveling writing blogs video games video editing and to play cricket in my life daily. Part-time, I spend a little bit of time writing blogs on different topics, especially on love and relationships. I also do affiliate marketing through Amazon by writing articles on different products to cover my study expenses.
My passion:
I am passionate about becoming a good video editor and blogger. In the future, I will create different posts, mostly about areas of my interest.
Thanks for giving your precious time to read my introduction post. I'm hoping my post will be enjoyable for you all.

Hello, @saimjan ! This is @jcrodriguez from the @OCD team. Congratulations for making your presentation post to the community.

How did you get to know Hive? Who introduced you to the platform? You can say their username or tag them so that it is known that you started posting.

I also invite you to explore other communities that you might like in this post: OCD Communities Incubation Program. There is a wide variety of topics. Check out all the communities.

If you are looking for tips and information as a Hive newbie, click here: newbie guide. They are easy to understand and useful for learning how the platform ecosystem works.

Content on Hive is monetized, so using content or images that belong to others could be considered an offense. Here is a useful collection of resources about how plagiarism and abuse is viewed and handled on Hive.

If you have questions or concerns, you can hop into OCD's Discord server and we'll gladly answer your questions.

Thank you for leading me, dear. I'll make an effort to abide by these helpful recommendations going forward to enhance my public image.

Welcome to the Hive community @saimjan!
We sincerely hope you find everything you are looking for and have found a new home here.

Seven suggestions to consider:

  1. Guard your passwords carefully, and only publish with the posting key,
  2. Use your active key only for wallet transactions, Keychain, Peaklock, and Hivesigner,
  3. The master password and the owner key are only used to reset compromised passwords,
  4. DO NOT lose your passwords; copy and store offline,
  5. Do not publish other people's work, be it photos or written, without credit, and be sure to source all of your work, even if it is your own.
  6. An introduceyourself tag is used only once , and
  7. DO NOT OPEN any links in memos or comments that you do not know who they belong to. If it sounds too good to be true it probably is, so the old saying goes. There is nothing free here.

I found you because @brittandjosie and @jamerussell from @heyhaveyamet presented and promoted your publication to get more exposure and help you grow faster.

If you find yourself overwhelmed and need some guidance, or if you have any questions, there are informed Hiveans available who can help you; you can click to go to The Terminal in Discord here:

Everyone on the blockchain is given a certain amount of "RESOURCE CREDITS" (RC) that can be "spent" in publishing posts, writing comments, etc. Everything we do requires a few RC to accomplish, similar to "mana" or "gas" on other blockchains. We are given RC depending on how much HIVE POWER (HP) we have staked. If you don't have much HP, you will use all of your RC quickly. RC recharges at a rate of 20% each day.

You have been given a temporary delegation ("loan") of HP to provide you with a greater allotment of RC, courtesy of @theterminal's RC-assist project. We ask that you:

• do not plagiarize (steal or 'spin' others' work)
• remain active
• comment/upvote others' posts to build your network
• PowerUp rewards to grow your account, do not 'cash-out' to an exchange

You may check your RC any time at https://hiveblocks.com/@saimjan
The best of luck to you on Hive! 🙂
