I grew up in an environment where i’ve got to constantly look over my shoulders, not because i was a criminal or because i was part of the bad guys, but to make sure i was always safe. I had to do that because in this part of the world which i call my base and grew up in, i have to be watchful and careful at all times. This is because there’s harm and danger flying around at all times, which is exactly one of the main reasons why i had to inculcate such habit. Looking over my shoulders at all times, especially when i’m out there in the public has really helped me a lot, it has saved me from many dangers and also hindered some aspects of my life…
This has been my way of life since i came to understand how humans think and how the world works in general. My safety is my topmost priority, being always at alert is a crucial survival tactic in this part of the world, no one is coming to save you, so you have to learn how to protect yourself from any threat or danger…
I spent my childhood in a very rowdy neighborhood, where we have different calibers of people with one or many bad habits, which includes stealing and some other petty crimes. It got to a point where every parent had to make sure non of their kids stepped out of the house once it’s 8 pm, especially those with more female species. This is to tell you how dangerous and unsafe my neighborhood can be at times…
Moving on into what we have in the prompt, “if i had the money, would i become a crime fighting vigilante?”
Deep sigh 😔, this is a tough one but then Yes i would become a crime fighting vigilante without a doubt. This means I get to become Batman or Robin for a lifetime, that won’t be a bad idea hehe. Well, that’s not really the point, I think doing this will really help make the world a better and safe space for the people, especially the young generation out there…
Imagine how peaceful it would be if we end up living in a crime free world someday. This is the kind of live I wished for myself, but then things didn’t work out the way I wanted it to work, especially with the way our rulers are ruling us, I don’t think such life is happening soon. This is the chance to make the world a safe space for the young and upcoming generations. If i have the power, then nothing would stop me from making that happen…
Giving back to the community is the best way to improve the community. I have always wanted to save the day, what better opportunity would I get if I don’t utilize this. The goal is to make the world a crime free zone for the people, especially the young and upcoming generations…
In summary, waiting for the corrupt authorities is a dead end. If they wanted to do something about this whole mess, they’d have done it long ago, but because non of their family members haven’t been victimized yet, they think this is an issue that should be taken for granted…
In conclusion, I would rather save the day with my power and money and be called THE BATMAN, than to wait for the corrupt authorities to take charge. The time is now, if not now then it would never happen…
