There are a lot of wicked activities in this world, but there are some we barely even know, notice or believe exist because they are carried out in cautious secret. Human trafficking for organs is one of the most sought-after illegal act done worldwide; no country is left out in this one. Humans are needed every day to donate (forcefully, of course) their organs and have it sold out to those in need. The demand is very high because it the supply is much low. Hencece, the value is very high too. This is why the processes are risks and requires heinous acts since the pay is big.

The human kidney comes in two, major functioning as blood filtration to remove waste products and toxins and other things like regulating blood pressure, balance acid-base level,etc. The two kidneys work simultaneously while filtering. They do not take turn to work. The kidney is a very vital organ in the body and is needed alwa. We can't do without them. If one fails, the other can still keep running the filtration smoothly, but it's best to have both working. Kidney, I think is the only organ in the body that can be removed and one would still be kept alive.
Money can cause men to go to extreme lengths to make money, to sort out bills and get whatever they desire, even if it will cause others harm or pain. Kidney is the most common organ sort after when it comes to human trafficking because millions of people are in need of a transplant, then the issue of matching donor is also responsible in the sense that if one person demands for a Kidney, 10 people might fall victims of kidnap and have their Kidney harvested to get at least one that would be a perfect match for the recipient; and this goes on and on.

If anyone is allowed the freewill to sell their organ, how exactly would the government be able to tell that organ somehow found with people was legitimately sold or bought ? It still poses a threat to society in the sense that, now people are willing to sell, but buyers are also willing to cheat, lie, and deceive many ignorant people to get the best price from victims. It is correct to imagine that some will get lured to go to certain allegedly arranged places for removal and payment only to get kidnap or used anyhow,or not get required treatment after giving out the organ or get killed afterwards. The idea of letting people have a freewill to sell their organ won't reduce the rate of illegal human trafficking or reduce the rate of poverty in any nation; the matter will get worse.
Getting a kidney sold is one thing, what about getting a proper treatment after the organ has been removed ? What about knowing what and what not to eat, drink ? What and what not to do to keep the keep the kidney working fine for long years ?. It is risky to live without caution with one kidney, does the person who will sell a kidney even know what the functions are ? We can't assume everyone knows about their kidney or any part of their body that can be sold off.
There are no organisations or government establishments that handle selling and buying of kidneys or any organ of the body. Hospitals also do not, they only help to match donor and recipients. There is a lot of human trafficking going on in almost every country to those who seek for better life and want to end struggling tiredlessly to fend for themselves and there are numerous bad guys seeking to get the victims,harvest the organs and make profits. It hasn't happened around You. It doesn't mean this isn't a real issue in the world today.
